Anyone else booked for the 50th Anniversary?

Same! Being there 9/14 for my wedding anniversary is most important, so hopefully we’ll be able to snag something... can’t imagine Disney would want to miss out on having extra time to sell merch and make more money
You're a lot closer to the "anniversary" date than we are--we're going in April! 😛 But you have a great point! Disney could rake it in selling the anniversary merchandise. I definitely don't want to have to end up getting anything from the scalpers on eBay!!🤦‍♀️

I'm going primarily for personal reasons to acknowledge the 50th, but also because it is ALSO my '50th' birthday this year.
So this dragon is partying in the Park since 'we' both turn half a century old.

I always said they need to have a marketing promotion for the Anniversary and give out free admissions to anyone who turns 50 this year, for having been born the year WDW opened.
Yeah!

Will be there! Booked our trip a month ago. Will
Be at the Pop Century 9/29 - 10/7. Have our park pass reservation for the MK on 10/1. Husband will be turning 50 as well.

I want to be there, but I don't want to book quite yet. I want mandatory masks gone, I want fireworks and parades back, I want FP+ back. So I may not be going ;).
I think masks and fireworks are the big things for me. Not only do I hate wearing a mask, I don't want to take pictures of the family with half their faces hidden. (Hiding half of mine for pictures is preferable though 😁)

Just wondering if anyone else has booked their trips yet for the 50th Anniversary Celebration?! I’m booked at the Grand Floridian 10/1-6. The CM that booked my trip over the phone was borderline rude and not helpful...hope this company isn’t going down the tubes! Also hoping things will be somewhat back to normal by then.
Not for the October 1st date, but going in November (my first WDW visit was December 1971 plus took my wife and kids to DL 50th)

When I cancelled our 2020 vacation, I re-booked for 18-25 September 2021 without having the faintest thought about the 50th Anniversary. Guess we will be leaving just before it. Though should be plenty of merchandise out when we are there.

Whether we go or not is still the question. Can't see paying for that Magic Kingdom view room at the Contemporary if the fireworks are not back by that time. Hopefully...

All the park reservations for Magic Kingdom are gone for the 1st. APs, resort guests and regular tickets. So if anyone had planned to book, tickets are gone already.

You can currently fly to and from the US and Canada (although the intent is that you will self quarantine on either side after such travel but that is impossible to enforce
It’s certainly possible, but I don’t want to bend any loopholes just so I can visit WDW.

Yeah I blew it....

I don't have valid ticket media yet, so couldn't reserve my spot for MK on the 1st this past weekend when I booked my room.
Wanted to wait a little longer before buying tickets ( that is what tax returns are for, right...?)
Just now hearing of the Park Pass reservations now filled up, so unless capacity increases by the autumn or by some other aspect, I'll be partying with everyone else 'locked out' over at Epcot.

But who knows what the future shall bring....
