Anyone dislike the volggers content?

I don’t watch any vloggers. I just have no interest whatsoever is seeing someone else’s experience, comments, thoughts, or whatever. And I admit I don’t quite understand vloggers popularity. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I definitely like food oriented vlogs because there are so many choices, especially at the festivals, it helps me discover things I might be interested in trying.

I agree. I don't usually like cornbread but tried it at this year's Flower and Garden Festival after seeing it in vlogs and I'm glad I gave it a shot because it was really good. Sometimes things sound good until you see what it actually is, and sometimes you think you wouldn't like something but then you see it and decide to try it. Or maybe you see the portions and decide it's not worth the price - or is a decent serving for the price.

I thought I would share this. Not that Google follows what I do online, but this was suggested content last night.

Two things worth pointing out here:
1. I watched a video where Adam explained he no longer takes a cut of his merch sales. He sells them at cost basically. So that's a huge chunk of revenue gone from that estimate.
2. It apparently breaks down his earnings per hour $29-something, but that's calculated using 24 hours in a day. Assuming he only "works" 8 hours a day, the hourly is 3x higher.

The way they calculate a lot of it was just odd, like doubling things because he has 2 channels, but one channel has 500 videos and the other is close to 4k. It was interesting that the $$ is much higher because it is in the Travel niche.

Edit: If you re-watch the one on shirt sales you will see he said he was making about $80 on a month on them. Not exactly a huge chunk of money.

I'm a huge fan of several Disney vloggers. I especially like PCDev, 4K WDW, Magic Journeys, Tim Tracker, Super Enthused, ResortTV1, AllEars, Adam the Woo, Paging Mr. Morrow, Disney Food Blog, Attractions Magazine, and Mr. Cheezy Pop.

I'll watch pretty much anyone who doesn't come across as bitter or jaded, though. I also recommend Run the Impossible for workout videos with Disney scenery.

I contribute to Patreons or sponsor several of these. They're providing me entertainment, and I happily finance their endeavors. Overall, these videos have greatly enhanced my YouTube consumption.

It said shirts earn him 77K per year. ? Either way, lots of wild assumptions and unrealistic calculations.

These colors bloggers don't make as much as you might think.
Respectfully, in reading your replies, I think it's more than these top-tier vloggers make substantially more than you realize. I have friends who do this for a living. Upper tier influencers receive better ad rates, more monetization opportunities, and direct donations. Patreons are also found money for them.

Now, that's only the top five percent I'm referencing, but once a YT channel reaches 100k subscribers, their financial opportunities explode. At 500k, it's almost comical. I'm talking about stuff like this:

And yes, I can say as a freelancer in an adjoining industry that a massive percentage of their expenses are tax-deductible.

Apparently, not that I would ever know or watch them, ahem, but ladies reviewing lingerie can be a big earner on youtube. Again not me, but my friend .................................'Alistair'..................... told me they're very popular depending on a variety of things including looks, age and size.

Was thinking about doing one myself wearing and reviewing boxers for the discerning gentleman but Mrs Mergatroid assured me there was no market demand whatsoever to witness me doing this 😢

My server at the Contemporary today was Spencer formerly of This Orlando Life. That vlog apparently didn’t end under happy circumstances.
That's a shame. I enjoyed watching Oliver when he was part of Dis Unplugged and was a little bummed when he left, but I liked his videos with Spencer. Didn't know there were circumstances.

I wondered what happened to them. I liked watching them.

One vlog that I like watching is Midway Mayhem. They show a lot of construction updates on new attractions around Florida.

Molly is the best! All Ears, DFB, Paging Mr Morrow and the Woo are my favorites. I can’t watch the trackers or Michael Kay anymore.

I feel like they’re all pretty repetitive but I like to keep up with what’s going on down there. But I wish they would review some more grownup food.

Ages ago I started the Tim Tracker/JustinScarred thread. Since then, there have been a lot more vloggers added, including a bunch of live streams that didn't used to be a thing.
In the past 5 months or so, I seem to have settled in on RTV1 for their live streams of both coasts, family friendly commentary and also chat box. It's also nice to review after the actual live stream if I miss it.
When they sit and eat though, with the camera just sitting there with a picturesque shot, that's when the little red dot to FF comes in handy. I get that it's a live stream and that they need to eat, but wow, that's boring. At least we're not watching them eat, lol.
It's a nice way to visit the parks on someone else's dime.
