Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone had been to WDW in the past few days, and could tell me how the crowds were in the various parks? We are headed there in 8 days!!! Can't wait!

AKL is calling my name!

I was there last weekend, which was a holiday weekend for many. (plus Duval County schools had a planning day on Friday) I've seen it emptier, but it wasn't bad. The longest wait I saw was 60 mins for Kali River rapids on Saturday at around 1PM. There was an EE to MK on Sunday; we had been on all of the rides we wanted to ride( and a few were ridden twice) and left the park by 10:30 AM. Just a note, Frontierland was not open until 9AM.

We just got back a few days ago, was at WDW Oct 8-15. Lines were short, most rides didn't even had fat passes going. The two longest waits we had were Haunted Mansion and Star Tours, both at about 25 min.

The busiest park seemed to be AK, with MK coming in second at night, but the hours weres extended that week.

Strange thing on Saturday, the park was open till 11:00, but they had the fireworks at 9:00. Everyone started to leave after the fireworks. I guess force of habbit. :hammer:

I work in Magic Kingdom and it hasn't been all that bad. It was dead in September but now its slowly picking up. You shouldn't have many long waits. Have fun! :)

Actually I got back today! The crowds weren't that bad. MK: Don't even bother. It was VERY crowded. AK: Not at all! MGM: Actually, not that crowded. 13 min. wait for ToT and 25 for RnRC! EPCOT: Nobody there except Test Track had 60 min. wait and for some reason, Living With The Lands had 45 min. waits the whole day!

Friday was terrible in MK. There were 47,000 people there. At this time of year there is usually only about 10,000.

Was there any particular reason? (that you know of?)

I know Osceola and Orange County schools had this past Thursday and Friday off as a Teacher workday/Student holiday, so that probably contributed to the increase in attendance.

I was at the Studios on Friday and did notice the crowds were a bit more than I expected, but still manageable. I didn't wait long for the Muppets but the theater was completely full. Took advantage of Fastpass for Millionaire. Watched Indiana Jones and Beauty and the Beast with fairly decent seats and didn't wait long.

Due to the fact that the week of the 3-9 of November is Election Day, Veterans Day, and a whole bunch of other stuff, do you think the hours will be extended? I mean, EVERY single room on resort property is booked up.

Does anyone know when crowds pick up again for thanksgiving/christmas? I'm going the week end before and I'm hoping crowds won't be to bad.

I just tried to get a room for Nov 8-11 and the only thing on property that was available was a tent at Fort Wilderness!!! I thought I could sneak one more trip in this year. I work for Disney Store but also an elected official in Rhode Island who lost the primary so I may be out of a job come January so I figured why not go back to Disney??? I guess everyone wants to go one more time this year!!:)

Isn't that the time of the TV Soaps stuff? I've heard it's next to impossiable to get a room durning that time, plus the Food and Wine is still going on if I'm not mistaken.
