Anyone been inside any Corporate Lounges?

I am an employee of GM and have been inside the Test Track lounge a few times. They had free soda and snacks and it was nicely air-conditioned and over-looked the ride. It was really cool. The best part is coming out and getting on the ride in front of everyone that just waited in line for about an hour!! Sorry..that's mean!!! :fork:

Anybody else been in any other corporate lounges?

I went to the FedEx Employee lounge back when they sposered Space Mountain and basically it was free soda, air conditioning and front of the line acess. Heck I even got a free pin out of it.

I got a free car calander out of my trip!!!! I'd rather have the pin.

I`ve read some interesting snippits about the lounges...

Horizons had no windows - the black windows along the roof of the building were false, hence the remote video camera was added.

Kodak`s is/was in the 2nd pyramid at Imagination

Energy`s looked out onto the Diorama (staging area where the 6 pack would split into the train formation)

Motions looked out into the central core with the model city (behind the conference room.. did you ever see this, dylan?

I`ve heard that The Lands overlooks the diorams (similar to the restaurant) and The Living Seas had its own windows into the tank (anyone from Kraft, Nestle or United Technologies confirm these??)

I've never seen the model city...maybe I didn't expore the lounge enough
...I saw the conference room and looked out the front window over-looking the front of the building, but that was the extent of it...

I was too excited to get on the ride ahead of everyone!

I'll make sure to look for this next time I go.

I havn't been to the lounge at the living seas but I did the aqua tour there.
I believe I saw the lounge through one of the windows. I don't know what it is used for now, but there was a piano in it.

I went into the one at the Land many times while it was used as an AP lounge. It was very much like a business lounge at an airport (surprise!). Lots of nice chairs and a few semi-private rooms. There were newspapers, phones/fax machines, free drinks, CMs that could help you with Priority Seatings & such, and I think a TV/VCR. The windows there overlooked the main area of the Land, as well as a bit of the ride. There was also a small kids' area.

I wonder if the "secret code" in the elevator to get there still works... :lookaroun

The lounge at the Living Seas is pretty nice. I was in there in December. They will use it for wedding receptions and other events (if you have the money) as it is located above the restaurant their and can have full service meals. The room has nice carpet and furniture and that clear piano. The view through the windows into the aquarium was just great!

The land's is basically one floor above the restaurant. You can see it from Living with the Land. It has the same view of the restaurant, just a little higher. It's pretty deserted now. The Living Seas is actually used as a conference room now. It is one of the most sought after rooms on property. It has an amazing view of the habitat, a glass piano, and plenty of room.

The Kodak lounge is actually on the far left of the entire Imagination pavillion. If you look there is a pathway that goes along the side of the building and a door. That leads to the lounge. I'm pretty sure its been there for a while since I was told Michael Jackson would use it to backdoor himself to Captain Eo!

I've been in the GE corporate lounge in Horizons. There were no windows, instead a huge movie screen. I think the furniture was white. Free soda and tangerine candy. Clean bathroom. Private entrance to the ride. I believe we got on the ride at the exit. When the lounge closed and we had to wait on line.. it was so horrible. I miss the Horizons lounge so much!

SSE lounge is very nice. View of the fountain and very clean restrooms. Also free coke and big leather sofas and chairs. It also had 2-3 board rooms for AT&T. Then it was off to the front of the line! :animwink:

Gm lounge

My boyfriend has been in the GM lounge for test track. He told me how he got to look inside the ride and he got to have pop and cookies. He's not an employee of GM, but he was on a robotics team in High school and GM sponsered them and paid for their trip to Disney World. They also let im go in the lounge. He told me he got to walk on to the ride with no wait. I told him he was a lucky duck and unlike the rest of us who have to wait in line for an hour or use fast pass!!

This time when we go we won't be so lucky :veryconfu

Not too sure if you count it as a Corporate lounge, but whilst working as a CM on International Program in UK pavillion I had an interview for the Cruise line. This was held in the Norway Pavillion in the private suite above the attraction. There was a lift that took you up to the 2nd floor to some very nice confrence rooms and suites where the interviews were held.

Was told that it was the Norwegian Royal family's private suite that they had built when the Pavillion first opened..... not sure if that is true though ??

On the future world tour, I got to check out the lounge at the Living Seas. I must say that it was beautiful. There was a glass piano and private viewing areas scattered around. I wonder if they are all that nice.
