Play some golf. The courses are beautiful. If you're just starting, you can go and just hit some balls on the range.

I really enjoyed Port Orleans. PO Riverside reminds me of Tom Sawyer with all it's rural Southern charm and POFQ is like New Orleans! Beautiful. It's not a deluxe, but it is nice IMO. You could also try staying at the Grand Floridian or the Polynesian or some of the EPCOT resorts. My personal goal is to stay at all of the monorail resorts.

Usually what I do when I visit now is look for secrets and fun bits of magic that most people overlook.

For example, head over to the Grand Floridian and just sit in the lobby... it's gorgeous, you feel like royalty. Then take the time to look at all the decorations because there are many characters hidden in the marble on the floor, furniture, even the wallpaper!

Another great thing to do is just walk around, slowly, and look. Actually look at things, step up to them and take them in. My favorite is in the late afternoon around Cinderella's castle. The light hits behind the towers just right to create a lovely atmosphere by the wishing well.

Look at the windows on Main Street, try to find Cinderella's horse on the carousel, try to find Mr. Toad in Pooh's ride, read what the blocks say on Peter Pan...
Of course there are many similar secrets in other parks. For me each ride is not just the ride, but I explore everything in and around it too. I would suggest going to the library a few days before your trip and getting some books on Hidden Mickeys and other secrets on the World, a lot of them are full of fun information that you can use while there :)

My suggestion is that you send all of your vacation money to me. You have gone enough times and done enough things. It is time to give the less fortunate an opportunity to partake of all things WDW. Yes, I mean me. It will give you a warm feeling inside and I will finally be able to get back to WDW. It really is a win-win situation.

Are you being sarcastic or rude cuz it is hard to tell:brick:

Neither. It is being said tongue-in-cheek - that is, as a joke.

My hubby and nephew did sea raycers at POR and said they weren't very fast. They did them the next day at the GF and said trhey were much faster. My nephew actually got chased by someone from Disney telloing him to be careful.

Segway tour

Hubby and I just did a Segway tour in our home town and LOVED IT! Now we want to do the one at Epcot. But when I go to the WDW web site, Segway is the only one on the tour list page that is not 'clickable'. Are they still doing it? Anyone know the cost?

162 more days!
:sohappy:

Don't Stress - Many of us feel this way (joke)

Someone is teasing you...we all wish we could get a free trip to the place we love so much.:ROFLOL:
This was a tongue-in-cheek statement I think.

Be sure to research any Disney guidebooks of interest - it's how I have fun away from WDW!

Go see Yee Ha Bob at PO, explore Fort Wilderness Camp grounds, do the Hoop-De-Do, Jelly Rolls at the Boardwalk (if you are over 21), DisneyQuest is always fun, find a paint brush on TSI, explore the trails around the Tree of Life, play Kim Possible (that can eat up a good part of the day), see the entertainment in the World Showcase, come up with a photo challenge between the people in your party or just take a horse back ride!

Plenty to do outside of the parks but still on Disney prop.
