So this is something inspired by I was reading from an old Disney Magazine article last night.

For example, I have to have a Mickey's Premium each trip. :)

Any others you guys do?

A picture taken of us on mainstreet with Cinderella's castle in the back. We have a ton of these pictures, but it is a must on every trip. Also a giant rice krispy treat and popcorn from MK.:)

Every trip, the VERY first thing we do is take a trip on the TTA then head to Casey's to split a dog and sit at the yellow and white striped umbrellas! After that, we just wing it.

"Arrival" Fish & Chips (..."Yay!" :lookaroun:lol:)

That's our first stop, assuming our flight arrives on time and we don't run into any troubles with luggage or DME.

EVERY evening I spend at the MK I eat a Funnel Cake at Sleepy Hollow.
There is nothing better than waiting for Wishes to start while watching the castle and enjoying a delicious Funnel Cake!!!

Ooh!
Even as a self-proclaimed "seasoned veteran", I guess I didn't know that there were funnel cakes at MK.
Thanks for the info!

*Funnel cakes are my favorite!!! I could eat myself to an untimely death from gorging on funnel cakes!

For my past two solo trips to WDW in October 2007 and August 2008 my first two rides anywhere inside any park were Pirates and Haunted Mansion.

Unfortunately my initial plans for December 2009 don't call for me going into the Magic Kingdom until a few days after my arrival, but that could change! Wherever I end up, I'll be at WDW and I know my vacation will start.

We always start are vacation in Disney one day sooner than scheduled. So what we do is go to DTD and eat at the Rainforest and go shopping. The next morning are vacation package starts we go have breakfast at the resort we are staying at and go to EPCOT and ride Space Ship Earth. I can't get enough of EPCOT.

Haunted mansion is always the very first and the very last ride of every trip. We also always have lunch and Le Chefs De France on our first day at Epcot.

Every single trip concludes with a picture of me and my son in front of the metal scroll Mickey just before going under the tram bridge at the TTC.

Rootbeer floats are a must any time i go to disney world. no particular place but i always get them.

my wife has to get a turkey leg. i will admit they are good too.

a fairly new one for me is I buy a photo album with the year that i went. I have 3 so far. I will also buy a picture frame too, whether it be from a ride picture or a vacation one. I buy several of those a trip.

Actually, we have two "traditions" at WDW. First is a picture in front of the Neptune fountain in Italy. Second, is sending an e-mail picture from Innoventions. It's fun to look back and see the grandkids "grow up" in the pictures.

Dole Whip!!!!!!!!!

I know this is like, a sin on these boards. But i've never even had a Dole Whip, let alone seen one in person. But i hear it's a snack credit, so i may use one to try it this time.

As far as rituals, we always grab a sweet from the Main St Bake shop, along with a coffee, and sit on the curb together to get ready for Spectro.

'Coffee And' around 10 am (whichever bakery per park). Since we are early risers, with breakfast at around 5am and lunch around 1 or 2pm, our pastry break is our ritual treat.

I love that many rituals here involve food! Yay!

I was about to type that i don't have a ritual...but then realize that it's not true.

Our ritual, every trip, is to visit the other resorts. Sometimes the same ones, but often different ones, depending on time.

We ALWAYS make the EPCOT resort loop, and visit every hotel there.

and it ALWAYS rains when we do! (and I mean ALWAYS! It's become a family joke!)

My personal ritual, is upon entering each park, withing the first few steps and inhale, commiting the entire scene to memory and being thankful that I made it back... (I can't wait for the next trip! We will have 3 little children in tow, all first timers!)

In the Magic Kingdom, I always enter the Main Street bakery... Just to smell and enjoy the scenery... I wish my kitchen could look like that place!

In Adventureland, I always play by the 5 wood status that mist... I love those guys...

My wife has to always have popcorn during fireworks...

I always search for new-to-me penny presses...

I cry/sob, hold my breath, pull my hair out and then throw the biggest temper tantrum ever seen when my wife tells me we have to leave on the last day of our trip... :ROFLOL: ... it's really a spectacle to behold... at least a C ticket attraction! HA!
