If you are booking in the 7-month window, you can purchase up to 24 "One Time Use" DVC Points directly from Disney for $15.00 per point.

Hello, I booked what I could and I was short points to book another night,They told me that also. I am just afraid that night will get booked when I call back. Thank you

I had to buy 10 points this year thru Disney to book our week.......I'm in the hole already so I can't help

Buying and selling points on here is actually against site rules, but you can contact the site's sponsor who does resale. He is listed on this section. Or you can head to a dedicated site. What you could also do is book the last night on cash so you have it and then if you're able to get the additional points and the night is still available on points, switch to the points.
