On reading that site, I share a birthday with the original Broadway Lumiere (only he is older) and The Little Mermaid opened on my birthday (in 2007) at Denver's Ellie Caulkins Opera House.

Cooool

Oh and it's also "Walt Disney Day" in Missouri!

(August 23rd for those interested)

I was born August 8th, 1982. So I am actually a little older than Epcot. :)

Also Bambi made it's world premiere in London.

Disneyland's Haunted Mansion was still only open to cast members at that point. It opened to the public the next day.

I've always felt a "birth connection" with WDW just by being born the same year it opened. My first trip there was when I was 3 and we went often while I was growing up, I went to college about an hour from there, so I visited often (bought a 4 day pass each year), then continued to visit after I was married and started a family. I even got my DH hooked - who had never been until I took him on our 1 year anniversary. DD has been more times than DH and is certainly a DIT - Disneyholic-in-training.

It's funny, now that I'm thinking about it, I don't even remember my first trip there. It's always been there, a part of me - kind of like "home".

Disney.com was launched on my twenty-somethingth birthday.

Also, to eddiemcgarrigle and 2020_C.E.O. --- just curious --- how does a woman discover she is pregnant in the middle of EPCOT or MGM? Did she bring a test with her and tee-tee on a stick? Did the doctor's office call on the cell phone? I don't mean to pry, but I'm dying to know.

I was born in 1988 (8/18/88) the same year the Grand Floridian opened.

I also love to spend as many birthdays in the world as possible (only 6 so far)
