Any First Night Dining TRADITIONS?

We always kick off our stay with dinner at Chef Mickey's then ride the monorail over to Magic Kingdom to watch the parade & fireworks. We didn't start out making this a tradition, but after checking into our hotel for the stay, it's just a cool way to meet the characters without a lot of rush.

We always do DTD our first night and change up which restaurants we go to...this year we are doing DTD and have an ADR for Turf Club Bar and Grill at Saratoga Springs! We ALWAYS do O'hana and 1900 Park Fare, just not on a certain day! Have a great trip!!

As we usually arrive at WDW early evening (fly from west coast), we hang out at the boardwalk and have late dinner at Big River Grille. Nothing beats a couple of their beers and a burger after a loonngg day of travel. :sohappy:

On our first day we love to start the trip with a dinner at CRT. Nothing helps me unwind into the disney spirit like a magical dinner at the castle! If we're lucky we'll have the music of wishes playing in the background, and then on our last day see the full show.

Never plan anything on our first night as we are always too tired after travelling for nearly ten hours. First morning is always a trip to Magic Kingdom with an 8am breakfast at the Crystal Palace.

We always go to the Rainiforest Cafe. It was the first place we ever went to when we visited Disney for the first time ever as a couple

So far these have all been so great! It really is fun having that special thing you do evry time down. For us , not going to Hoop Dee Doo that first night would be such a let down.

After driving down (7 hours), we would always stay in DD for the first night and eat at The Earl of Sandwich. This year I am suprising my DW and DS by spending our first night at our Disney resort (Contemporary) and having dinner at California Grill.

When we went last month, we went to Kona Cafe. I think this might have to start being a tradition for us. Kona Cafe, a Lapu Lapu and Wishes on the Poly beach :sohappy:
When we go in November though we have ADR for 'Ohana since it's such a short trip (4 nights) we didn't have time for Kona but we will DEF return next spring when we're there longer!
