Another question about park maps

I believe that they print the equivalent to 40,000 maps a day, but its all done in advance. Heck, MK alone averages more than 40,000 guests a day. But the maps you get right when the parks open are not hot off the press, they are weeks possibly months old. However the inserts, the thing with parade times, show times, etc (can't think of what it actually called :brick:) would probably have to be printed close to everyday.

Would be interesting to have some hard facts, im sure the numbers are mind boggling!

That is pretty staggering. On my recent trip in December 2009 I did something a little different. Not only did I grab some of the English-printed park maps, I also picked up French-printed ones because I know a little bit of French.

I also made an effort to get French-printed park maps at Universal and SeaWorld.

I'm amazed at all of the map guides that are printed at Disney as well as the other Orlando parks.

I seem to remember reading that Disney prints 40,000 maps/guides a day, if true is this the most published 'book' in the world?
Can you tell me how old the pin is that you are using as your ID photo? I am a new pin pin collector- we were at WDW last summer and I was trying to find an Epcot pin I liked but couldn't- your pin of Mickey in front of Spaceship Earth is really nice. Thanks
