Another Night

Hello everyone. I have a question, I've been searching around through the boards, and I noticed that sometimes when people got in a fight, someone would say "Oh no, not another night." I was wondering, what was this "night"?

Well there have been heated arguments before....I guess its a way of people saying..."Here we go again."

Then again what do I know....:lookaroun

No, no, no. You have the wrong domesticated house pet declared in your response. It is common knowledge that Feline is the ingredient of choice in most Chinese eateries. Not to say they would not honor a special request 'off' the menu.

Of course, Beagle is still better than your regular order of "Cream of Sung-yung-guy" :hurl:

Firstly, your attempt to deflect your bigoted statement above is weak.

Secondly, of all places to visit, I shouldn't have to read any statements (attempted humor or otherwise) that would offend me. Yes, I am Chinese and think it's intolerable that anyone would make a stereotypical statement like yours and then attempt to diminish it.

Comedic parodies, if done properly, should be taken light-heartedly. I believe this 100% I think I have a great sense of humor and anyone who has read some of my posts would think the same.

Your statement crosses the line.

Wow! :veryconfu We tend to disagree often on these pages but I certainly pick and choose the battles that are worth fighting. I am Polish and have no problem laughing at the many Polish jokes that come my way.

Not to be mean, but I could have sworn that Chinese do serve animals that are domesticated in the U.S. Am I wrong?

Allllrighty then. To you and anyone I may have offended, I offer my sincerest apologies.

It is, however, a running joke, about Chinese food served here in the U.S.. I by no means started the joke, but I am guilty in joining in when the joke presents itself. And if you read the majority of my posts, you will see that I am no more than (for the most part) a hit-skip artist, trying to add some levity to our everyday lives.

Where in China were you born?

I haven't ever tried that stuff. I am pretty sure a few co-workers of mind had. Looks like it is high in demand out there in the West Coast too. My state is trying to bann the stuff.
