Another mug question

You know there is one member here..who anytime they post pics are images..I see nothing..it just looks like they did not post a thing..yet if quoted I see it...and I see all their other posts fine..makes no sense..:shrug:

Are you talking about one of the members who posts in the pic of the day?! I thought I was the only one who had that happen... I've never seen any of the pics they put up, and it is just completely blank.... Glad to know i'm not alone on that one! (I never thought about quoting it to see the pic though!)

I am heading down to WDW soon and plan on getting there early, then taking a boat to the Wilderness Lodge for lunch before heading to my resort to check in. I know that mugs are supposed to be good only at the resort you stay at, but can I purchase a mug at lunch and then still use it at my resort for the rest of my stay? It seems pretty silly if I would not be allowed to do this, but just want to make sure I am not breaking any rules. Thanks for any help or advice!

All mugs are the same design now but they offer different color lids and handles to help families tell whose mug belongs to who. You can use that all the resorts now, it was cheaper for Disney to make them this way rather then resort specific. You get a mug per person free if you do the deluxe dining plan now.

While it may seem silly, Disney policy states you may only use the mug at the resort you purchase it at, and only for your current stay at that resort. You may not use a refillable mug at a different resort or in the theme parks. You may not bring a refillable mug from a previous trip and use it during your new trip. This policy has not changed, even with the new generic resort-wide refillable mug designs.

What you decide to do is your own business, but please realize what the policy is, and please be careful to have the correct information when advising others on what the policy is.
