Another mug question...

I'm sorry, I know there's been many threads on the refillable mug subject, but I still have a question to ask...
I'm going to the Pop Century Resort on Friday. I'm trying to decide if I'll get a refillable mug or not. Can anyone tell me what are the drinks I could get with my mug at that resort? I've read somewhere that the Pop Century's soda fountain offers soft drinks and minute maid apple juice. Would I be allowed to get free refills of apple juice with my mug, or do I have to stick with soft drinks and coffee?

I was at Pop last October & they had Coke products, coffee, icees (coke & cherry, i think), & apple juice. If you're not supposed to fill the mug with apple juice, they weren't stopping anyone. I love apple juice, so that's what I drank the most of.

I'd think any of the self-serve drinks would be OK.

You can get coffee, tea, iced tea, hot chocolate, sodas and juices...basically everything offered at the beverage dispensers of the food court. Some are self serve and others are not. Some keep the tea bags (for hot tea) at the registers and others do not.

Just check with the CM when you buy your mug. :wave:

Pop also has the icees which are quite popular. I saw lots of people filling their mugs with them, so I assume it's allowed.

We were at Pop in April and there was Coke, Diet coke, Sprite, Apple Juice, Lemonade, Powerade and Nestea. There was also icees available and coffee. There is also a hot water tap. You are able to refill your mugs with anything available at the drink station.

There are also drinks available for purchase in the cases, such as milk, chocolate milk, orange juice, and alcoholic beverages. The prices vary of course.

I highly recommend the mugs. We get one every trip. The cost is $11.99 plus tax. If you look at $2.09 a pop for a drink, the mug pays for itself quickly. You are able to refill your mug as many times as you like during your stay.

Yes. Just walk up with your pre-purchased mug from your current visit and filler up.

What if you buy a mug, then two weeks later come back for another Disney trip. Can you still use that mug? Or is it just for that time you were there? Not sure how they would know unless the mugs changed right?

Current stay. If you leave, then you should purchase another.

There have been many discussions about this topic. Some believe its ok to re-use. Some believe the guidelines are there for a reason and follow them. Use your best judgment and let your conscience be your guide.

All of the resorts but the Swan and Dolphin have them. They recently changed the mugs so that they all share the same logo now (the YOMD). Prior, it had been a different logo for each resort (I have them from three different resorts, all with unique logos).
