Another mini golf question! :)

Which course would be better for a child? My son (6 years old) has discovered he loves mini golf and has his heart set on playing at WDW. I'm guess I'm asking which course is easier... he has a better time when he can get a few shots in (of course)!
And what time do the mini golf courses close? I think I would rather go in the evening when it's not too hot out!?!
Thanks in advance!

One more quick question... I just checked the calendar for the end of August and BB closes at 6... so would the buses still be running after that? How would I get to mini golf if BB is closed? I'm staying at AS Music which I know is pretty close to BB and the mini golf!

I prefer the summer side. It was interesting seeing winter motifs made out of sand and melting snow. In March I took the bus to BB, but went during the afternoon so I would be able to make it back to ASMu on the bus. My family will be staying at ASMu from mid to late August also.

So, I'm guessing the bus doesn't run after BB is closed... makes sense!?!

*Edit - I just read this over on the moms panel...
"But after Blizzard Beach closes, but while the Winter Summerland is still open, you can still get Disney transportation to take you there. During those times the bus routes that include the All-Star Resorts and Epcot add the Winter Summerland golf course to their route. You should see it posted on the front of the bus (in the electronic window) but in case you don't see it, you can always ask the bus driver on this route to confirm."

So it sounds like you can still use Disney transportation to get there!?!

Not that it's an ideal situation, but as a last-ditch-effort WinterSummerland is about a 1.25 mile walk from the All-Star Music lobby:

The walk is along real sidewalks (not just trudging along the side of the road), with crosswalk signals where necessary.
This sidewalk continues on Buena Vista Blvd and ends at the entrance to Coronado Springs.

I wondered how far it was... thanks! Maybe if the troops are feeling up to it we could walk home!?!
