Another fatal crash on WDW property last night.

There was some type of fire on World drive today. Large black flames where coming from the World Drive/Epcot overpass area. They were redirecting traffic back towards the magic kingdom. It looked pretty bad. Hope everyone is ok.

Traffic reports I heard on the radio just mentioned a car fire, nothing about a wreck.

Technically, isn't the far left lane on any interstate the passing lane? It is not to "drive" in, it is to be used to overtake a slower car and then mover back over if you can.

The restriction of the left lane for "Passing only" is left to each state.

Sorry Dave, but any New Englander can tell you that the left lane in New Hampshire is for racing back to your home state with a carload of fireworks and/or tax-free liquor and cigarettes. :animwink:

Sounds like a carBque.

Those look bad for maybe 5 minutes. They burn out surprisingly quick.

Now you want something that looks bad, there was a wreck back in 2006/2007 (?) on C.R. 474 west of U.S. 27, just inside of Lake County. Dump Truck and Toyota Corolla, head on. Combined speed upward of 120 mph. Now that looked bad and was very graphic, i think i had maybe a handful of publishable photos.

My point being is that your level of bad - small car fire - is not everyone's level of bad. Yes it sucks but there are far worse things.

I am in NH 2 or 3 times a year. I have relatives there (as well as in Vermont)

No bottle rockets, that just crazy :)

Liquor is not tax free, its just that the state owns the liquor stores.

As someone who has had run-ins with the NH police while zipping through the Kangamangus Pass, left or right lane makes no difference.

But hey, any state that allows open carry to any resident - without a permit is OK in my book.

I just learned that it was a fellow watercraft castmember (the victim). Somehow, we'd never met, but the whole watercraft family is obviously very sad at the moment.

RIP Captain:(
He was born and raised in Marrero, Louisiana...my sister used to babysit him when he was little...:(....I met him once or twice when he was younger..my sister is friends with his family.

His dream was to always work at WDW..so his dream did come true..

So very sad...:(

His service's are tonight and tommorow
