How is it that I'm hundreds of miles from OC but no one else in SoCal caught this?

But then my second thought was... Is that new Fantasyland ride ops uniforms? Olive green skinny jeans and a plain white blouse without any embroidery or detailing on either slacks or blouse? Huh? šŸ«¤

Kids were caught in the middle of a brawl at Disneyland as adults threw punches and delivered kicks while bumping into baby strollers during a fistfight in Fantasyland between the Monstro whale and the spinning teacup ride.

A fight involving at least five adults broke out on Sunday, Oct. 15 in the kiddie land of the Anaheim theme park, according to video posted to .

Disneyland security responded quickly to the brief incident between guests in Fantasyland and the party that initiated the incident was immediately removed from the park, according to Disneyland officials.

No injuries were reported and the Anaheim Police Department was notified, according to Disneyland officials.

No arrests were made and the incident remains under investigation, according to Anaheim Police Department spokesperson Jon McClintock.

The fight quickly escalated on the sunny Sunday afternoon when two adults began throwing roundhouse punches and others soon joined the fray between the Storybook Land Canal Boats and Mad Tea Party rides in Fantasyland.

Two kids found themselves in the middle of the fight as the combatants bumped into a baby stroller during the 11-second video made by Instagrammer CapturedThrills. A man involved in the fight fell to the ground and was kicked by a woman while he was trying to get up.

And my son wants a Disneyland trip for his graduation present next spring.... I am so sick of all the negative stuff circling Disney in general, I understand and agree with lots of it but this is just getting beyond.

I looked it up- it looks like MM had a fight back in 2021? Otherwise, the articles mentioning fights at Six Flags are from '85... 40 years ago.
I do think the reputation MM had is now a bit out of date. I've never felt unsafe there in the decade I've been going. I actually enjoy the park and find it a nice departure from Disney.

Now, if they could only fix their single train operations issue...

Seriously, what is wrong with people todayā€¦??

You go to Disneyland on a lovely Sunday afternoon with the kids, and end up in the middle of a punch up.
Involving adults.
At Disneyland.
In Fantasyland.

Society can really just suck on so many levels.
Behave, people.

I blame social media. People get used to being rude and start acting that way in personal interactions on the streets. Even standard TV has lowed it's profanity standards.

Be kind to each other. Even here.

The "coarsening of the culture" as someone twenty years ago called it (I can't remember who), seen on display.

So often we've been told that if you objected to that coarsening and lowering of standards, you weren't with it and weren't modern enough, or that the old standards of decorum and behavior no longer mattered. And yet, here we are in the exotically future year of 2023, and that coarsening really does seem to have made an impact on us as a society.

And it's an impact that is not for the better.
