Hey all of our Passholder Friends, Disney World has just opened up Passholder rates for resort rooms going into the Spring!! The travel dates are 1/2/2013-3/22/2013 and discount amounts do vary depending on the resort. Not all dates or room types are available with this discount but if you are flexible, some of the discounted rates are pretty great. Contact us here at 1866-566-7858 for a free no obligation quote on these great offers. Have a great day!!! Marie

Thanks @wannabeBelle! I called to modify my reservation and it saved me a whopping $50 compared to the discount I had before (the Disney Visa discount). :p Not a ton, but hey, that pays for most of my Tables in Wonderland card right there...and every little bit helps. :)

I've been checking every day for several weeks, glad to see they're finally up! I booked a room at AS Sports to be safe, $445 for 3 nights, and found a Princess Tiana room at POR for $502...I'm kind of tempted. Or, I could go to POP for around $300 and save some money...decisions, decisions :)

I have to tell you I stayed at the Royal Guest Suites for my birthday last year and it was AMAZING!!!! I loved the decor and the fireworks in the headboard. If you can do it, I would spring for POR on this one!!! Have a great time!! Marie

Trotsky, The limitations on discounts have been around for a LONG time. This is nothing new and shouldnt be a big surprise to anyone. All of the resort room discount offers are limited in terms of how many rooms are offered during any given night of that period. This has been true for as long as I have been tracking discounts which is probably over a decade at this point. I'm sure others have found similar patterns as well. I am very happy that the DVC program works for you and your family. I have looked at the program from every angle I can think of for myself and there are several key points that just dont work for me and how I travel. I know a few people who feel the same and I am sure there is more than that out there. To each their own. In the meanwhile, the resort discounts continue to be of interest to those people who can utilize them and I will continue to post them to make our friends here at WDWMagic aware of a potential savings for their trips. Have a great day!! Marie

Of course, you can certainly determine the amount of your discount as you say by comparing the non discounted rate and the discounted rate. I have done that any number of times on both packages and room only resevations, that certainly makes sense to see the dollar amount or percentage you are saving. I dont understand the necessity for it though. If you are booking a resort stay, and were able to apply a discount, would you not accept the discount if the percentage wasnt as high as what you were looking for? Maybe I am not understanding the point? Marie
