Annual Pass Rates for Winter/Early Spring out

Hi Marie,
It seems as though you have to be logged in and have an annual pass to see the rates. Do you happen to know what the rates are for the hotels using this discount?

AP and FL Resident rates are usually looked upon as a "clearance sale" when they have a limited number of resorts/rooms/dates left to fill.

I must have been very lucky in the past years, because I have always gotten 35-40% with my AP.
The more flexible you can be with resorts/ room types and travel dates, the better chance you have of getting an AP rate. Also look at several resort choices as different resorts and room types do offer different rates. Marie

@Kingdom Konsultant @wannabeBelle are fantastic. I've always booked myself, but given how involved finding good deals has become with Disney, I thought I'd give Kingdom Konsultants a try. It was probably one of the best decisions I have made regarding Disney travel. I've been working with Marie on an upcoming trip and she was totally on top of things finding the room type and applying special rates and discounts without hesitation. @wannabeBelle was able to update my booking with an AP rate before the AP availability was sold out.

I agree, the initial selections are very disappointing and limited. I would suspect that the AP offerings will change depending on how much available inventory is left as special progresses. I'm sure someone more in the know can comment on this further.

Please compare these so called "discounts" to RACK RATES, post APR 26, 2018.
These are "discounts" off of very HIGH seasonal rates. Go one week later (APR 27 on).... RACK is pretty much dead even. Pull it up, compare for yourself. Dead of Winter? Might be of value.
The "discount" has been offered in a high cost season. This is becoming a common WDW trick.
All personal opinion - I'm not necessarily right, no one else is necessarily wrong.

I just went back in today and booked the Boardwalk Inn at $748.00 less than the original reservation I had booked, which included the Gift of Magic 25% off rate. So do not give up and keep looking, this was NOT there yesterday either online or with the two cast members I spoke with on the phone. Total saved over the "rack" rate is $2,964.13.

This is the second major reason I've stopped buying the AP (driving in from North Georgia). We prefer moderate resorts and the discounts got smaller, but more importantly, the availability shrunk to almost nothing.
In the days when I could call in an apply the discount to my existing reservation (because the block was larger), it made great sense. Now you've got to call at the magic, witching hour and get the just-right correct cast member to help you to get the proper amount discount to show up. Call at the wrong time and it seems like you're back to the rack rate.
The chase for a room discount simply isn't fun.
Keep in mind that a lot of the Mods are under construction/ refurbishment right now which would lend itself to smaller availability. I am hoping that when the refurbs finish and the tower opens at Coronado Springs, that availability will open up a bit. Marie
30% off the room we booked for 3/23-30. AP discounts are actually better than the Gift of Magic/Visa as we have been trying that since they came out. Doing the math almost all were 0-10%. Our AP experience backed up my belief that they hold back rooms for passholders. Again "No availability" for us became 30% off.
