Funny how on another e-mail I get Disney Destination e-mails promoting DVC and other things ... interesting. Anyway ... I can post those e-mail addresses if wanted?

Do we know what they've capped the amount of guests allowed in the land during the time periods we had to select from? I'd imagine it would be enough time to see the land and hit the two rides but not if you're waiting in an hour line for each? I don't know ... I'm glad to hopefully (if it's not cancelled or changed) be able to experience it with very minimal crowds but I was just wondering if anyone's heard what the max amount of people will be?

Same. It's so frustrating. I have the "yes, please send me communications" box checked. And I DO get emails for dining reservations or if there's a problem with my FP+ selection, etc. So it's not that they are incapable of sending me the emails (nor me receiving them) but they just absolutely will not put me on the AP list! I've talked to CMs at City Hall, I've emailed customer service - no one seems able to help me get on that elusive list!

Equally weird is that I'm the primary account holder and I manage my husband's pass under my MDE login, but things like our Mickey Monitor come in HIS name - never mine. It's like they have this weird aversion to sending me anything related to being Passholders. And we've been Passholders for years now, unbroken. Jeez, probably like 8 years or so now?

I get not everyone will be able to take advantage of all opportunities, but it's so unfair that everyone isn't at least given the chance to TRY if they're interested. This preview actually comes across my birthday (May 16th) and since we normally go to the parks for my birthday, that would have been a nice bit of kismet. But....no emails for me, ever, in the history of having an AP.

One thing that has really helped in my case is that years ago I got a yahoo account (Disneybigwig@yahoo.com). I then email myself stuff from this account ("George, You've been invited to ride Big Thunder all day on whatever day you're next going to be in MK with no waits. Have a magical day."). It makes me feel better. Plus, some of the "not the sharpest knife in the drawer" CMs will honor the electronic mail once I show it to them.

So, in a clear sign the apocalypse must be near, I received the first WDW Passholder email (April eNewsletter) I have received in over 6 years a few minutes ago. I still don't have a confirmation for the Pandora Preview, but I guess I'll have to accept small victories and hope this is an indication of forward progress. I'm still working on the assumption that the Pandora Preview isn't happening for me at this point though.

Say, you're right!
No wonder nobody is posting any pictures!

Sorry, this made me splutter and I now have tea all over my lap (luckily tepid, 'cos I never seem to manage to drink it in time)! I have visions of you constantly refreshing the page for a new thread to appear ......

Apologies for laughing though, no offence meant

2 weeks ago, Guest Experience Services told me that everything should be resolved and I should receive the confirmation email in 24-72 hours from that point. As of Monday, 2 weeks later I still had not received anything so I called them back again. Apparently I've beaten them down and someone manually created an email confirming my ability to gain access for the day and time I originally requested. It notes that additional instructions will be distribute in early May about gaining access so I fear another round of crazy at that time.

So the Pandora part of this might actually finally be resolved but since this had to be created manually, I fear the fundamental problem in their systems that's blocking outbound emails to my email address is still not fixed so this will crop up yet again in the future. With everything new under construction this feels like it's going to be a recurring event.

I'm assuming if I got the confirmation e-mail when I first signed up for previews, that I'll get whatever e-mail they send before hand (but like donsullivan, I've had issues getting e-mails from them regarding things like this, though not to the extent he's had) .... can anyone be kind enough to post whatever e-mail they get for the preview that they signed up for?

I'm curious how strict they will be with time frame and how they will enforce it? Colored wrist bands for each time frame?

Based on the all too much communication I've had with them on this mess it seems that the preview is linked to your MDE profile and they will scan your MagicBand or admission media and it will match to your eligibility. The way they described, it will act just like a Fastpass. If your eligibility isn't verified they will not let you in.

The text of the manually generated email I received included this text.

"Upon check-in all Guests must present a valid government issued photo ID, their valid Annual Pass or MagicBand with their linked Annual Pass, and their confirmation page to a Cast Member in order to enter Pandora – The World of Avatar."

So for example if APs had the 6-8pm time slot, they need to ride the two attractions within that time frame But will be able to walk around the area past 8pm until the park closes? And you can only ride each attraction one time?

My guess (and this is only a guess) is that you'll have free reign to experience everything that's open and ride as much as you want within your 2 hour block. How many times you can actually ride either attraction will likely be determined by how many people are in each group. I also expect they'll do a pretty aggressive 'sweep' at the end of the window and clear folks out pretty quickly.

I have also seemed to have lost/deleted my conformation from my original email for the preview that was sent out. I know I got my time reserved and have the date and time written down. From what I can remember though I thought I read that another email with "instructions" on how to enter the preview would be sent out closer to the preview date. Does anyone know if the original conformation email is needed? I've requested another email be sent with my conformation but have yet to receive a response.

That's what I was wondering about, the second e-mail with "instructions" ... but like anything they're not super clear. I saved my confirmation e-mail like it's gold so I'm good with that, and if it's linked to my MB, there should be no issues, but I don't trust them LOL

I just checked my email and it said further instructions would be emailed by 5/12, so it will interesting to see what other details we get. I don't see anything in my MDE account, so I'm just nervous an email printout might not be sufficient if something happens.

I agree. I'm a little nervous too. I guess I missed the 5/12 thing in my confirmation e-mail ... I got the confirmation e-mail so I'm assuming I'll get the "further instructions" e-mail ...
