I agree. I'm a little nervous too. I guess I missed the 5/12 thing in my confirmation e-mail ... I got the confirmation e-mail so I'm assuming I'll get the "further instructions" e-mail ...
We are booked for the 5/13 (6-8pm) preview, and we have not yet received any additional emails. I plan to call the number provided later today or tomorrow to confirm.
I typically do not ever get their system emails for resort reservations, so I was actually surprise I got anything back in March.

I don't seem to get the Annual Passholder e-mails (which is mainly why I'm nervous about the second e-mail for the Pandora preview, as I never got the invite, but neither did a lot of other people so that could be a different issue altogether), but I get other things (like if a FP attraction I booked is down, etc.). It's weird. I don't get their system. I get Disney Destinations e-mails on another email address ... I guess at least I had no problem with the initial confirmation e-mail but I don't want any issues on preview day ...

We are going May 17th and we already received ours and have them printed and ready to go.

How many emails are there?

There was the initial confirmation e-mail. Which I received. Then supposedly they are e-mailing a second e-mail "closer to the date" (apparently by or on 5/12) with instructions, even though I believe the confirmation email should have been enough ... I think we're confused on whether you received the second e-mail with "further instructions"

I am registered for 5.13.17 as well. I got the initial confirmation email on the day of registration (I actually got the same email twice that day for some reason).

I have not received the second email "with details on how to check in for this experience by May 12, 2017" as listed in the initial confirmation email. I look forward to hearing from anyone if and when they receive the second email or any updates received if calling. I was planning to call on Thursday if I didn't receive any additional email by then.

Can't believe we are still talking about who got e-mails who didn't get e-mails. Why anyone would want to go during this time always was baffling to me. Things will most likely break down, crowds will be unbearable and food will run out. Just to say you were one of the first ones to be there? When SW opens up this will be 100 times worse. But don't fear I'm sure Disney by then won't offer free previews to anyone DVC, AP. They will just charge and make it a ticketed event and say it's the only way to control crowds, etc.

I understand that but more likely to have outages because they are fine tuning the rides or there are failures. I'm not faulting anyone for wanting to go just saying personally don't understand the need. I hope for everyone that goes those things don't happen but we all know they most likely will. I much rather visit in the fall 6 months after they get everything straightened out. As far as the emails/not getting e-mails is fixed pretty easily by making one or two phone calls. I never depend on e-mails and always go directly to the source. But then again been DVC for over 16 years so used to it.

I'd rather go with low crowds. If I don't get on Flight of Passage I won't lose any sleep over it. It's nice they're offering guests a preview so I'm happily taking them up on it, they often ignore and neglect their APers, and they seem to be starting to neglect DVCers too (I'd like a Passholder lounge ...). I think we're aware of potential issues, why dwell on it? The land itself is an attraction. I already see the FP's are going to be hard to come by just like Mine Train and Frozen (which suddenly had a lot of availability on my Epcot day on the 16th next week, first time I've ever seen that ...)'

And in this case we HAVE to rely on e-mails. I agree they suck with them. That's clear. I wasn't aware how badly until this.

Yep. I'm fine with this as well. Sounds like the queue for FOP is worth it alone, sounds like one of the best they've done. I'd be happy with that. I'm more interested in the boat ride, short or not. Do we have any idea the cap of guests per the two hours allotted? Curious to see how it's handled.

If only that statement were actually true. It took me nearly 11 hours of phone calls, talking to over 15 different people over the course of 4+ weeks to get my reservation problem 'resolved'. Even after all that I'm still not 100% confident I'll be able to get in because I have a manually generated email from someone in Guest Experience Services without a confirmation number on it.

Exactly, it's not fixed that easily. I want to know the magic phone number csmatt uses ...

read on the Dis where a CM said fewer people invited to AP previews than CM previews
