Forgive me but wasn't there supposed to be a big Disney announcement/press conference happening on the 1st of October regarding upcoming projects, new attractions etc?

I've been away for a few days, unable to check the boards, and was expecting a batch of fresh info and debates...have I just got my wires crossed? :hammer: Was there ever such a thing!? I think I'm going loopy...

See, I knew I wasn't going mad! Just got my dates wrong...

So, do we have any educated guesses as to what some of these surprises could be!?

This will be an amazing treat for someone.

On Saturday, I saw a guest get a reserved table at Pinnochio's Village Haus. It was right near the window to IASW and had a table cloth and real silverware. Stinks, because my husband said the guy was only two people in front of him on line, and if he didn't have to use the bathroom right before going in...It might have been us. Well, I guess it wasn't meant to be!!!

Well, my husband hates IASW, and I love to torture him any chance I get!LOL!! My kids would have loved to see the boats taking off, but next time we'll just try to get in earlier when it's not so crowded!

I wouldn't want the place all to myself. Part of the fun of being there is being there with people. (Not TONS of people, I don't like waiting in line for too long...) But I wouldn't want to be there alone. It would be to eerie for me. I think I'd rather have the ultimate fast pass, that would be more desirable for me than experiencing any of the 4 parks with just my family. (I love my family, but I love to have interactions with other people too.)

Just my two cents...

Don't be in such a rush, the family was chosen over a month ago, it is the prize of the Internet Sweepstakes that was going through the MyDisneyParks.com website all summer. They won't be chosen in the park, they will be the first ones to the park on the 4th... Arriving around 7:30, and going to Tommorrowland and Fantasyland, so those lands can open at 9:00 for regular guests, they are expected to be done with Liberty Square, Adventureland and Frontierland by 10, so those areas can then be open for guests..

Oh they won't be alone. 1,500 additional cast members have been brought in just to wave and cheer.

They transfered cast members. They had an in house casting call through the portal. One of my dad's good friends is actually on the Dream Squad.
