It was probably an unpaid intern.

As an Italian-American I agree that the interim name is pretty dumb. The name for any classy Italian restaurant should start with "Ristorante" or "Trattoria."

Comforting that indeed, an outpost of one of the iconic (for better or for worse) staples of EPCOT Center/Epcot dining since 1982, will survive three hours from my front door.

I think the name of the restaurant needs to have the word 'Vecchio' in it.
For an Italian restaurant, Vecchio implies a classy place.

In Milan, the Vecchio Aosta restaurant is very well known.

I know I'm in the minority but I personally loved Alfredo's and I'm gonna miss it greatly. LONG LIVE ALFREDO'S!!!!!

Thats right! Alfredos will be greatly missed. There is still one in Italy, we can always go there.

It doesnt matter which brand you get plum wine all tastes the same. Its all sickenly sweet.

I'm really going to miss Alfredo's at Epcot. I'm going to try out Naples at Disneyland for the first time in a few weeks, and maybe that will give me an idea of how the replacement will be. They're supposed to be operated by the same group.
