Nice idea, but sounds like something old disney would do, like GMR...
Too True.

not going to happen under the Bobs.Maybe the UK Pavilion will be a homage to William Shakespeare or better still a reflection of English Lit with scenes depicting some of the best plays, poems and book characters pinned by English and Scottish authors.
I still have my book all these years later. One of the classic old movies that holds a special lace in my heart.I wore out my book and record set as a child, and can still quote nearly the entire movie by heart.
I also attribute my love of football to Lady Cluck. <3
Well, here's the thing. The ride was installed while Paramount owned the parks, but since Cedar Fair bought it, they had to relinquish all the movie-branded stuff. So, while it was designed in the spirit of The Italian Job, there are no longer any direct links to the movie -- including, much to your dismay, the music.
Would it be a seasonalPersonally if we must have an IP themed attraction for the UK let us have The Muppets Christmas Carol ride. Celebrates one of great British writers and the Muppets which was filmed originally here in the UK.
Plus seen as we were the first to create the trend of sending 'Christmas cards' it would be a nice piece to put in the gift shop.
Would it be a seasonal
operation?
Well, I am actually in the U.K. For the next few hours anyway and I have no clue.Nope open it all year long. If you can have multiple xmas shops all over property you can have a ride that focus's on how to go from an Eastenders xmas to a positive one.
Only the UK peeps will get that reference
Would it be a seasonal
operation? Poppins Is the only IP I can tolerate and only the 1964 film not the upcoming abomination.
I don,t see how they can possibly do justice let alone be in the same ballpark as the original.Since you can apparently see the future and tell whether or not a film is going to be good before it's even out, would you mind checking the lotto numbers for me? My next trip to WDW ain't gonna pay for itself!

It can't be any worse than the Mary Poppins book released in 1988 about child slavery.
Or that loving and sentimental opening sequence in Return to Oz, featuring electroshock therapy on a little girl
How does Return to Oz factor in any way to living up to the legacy of Mary Poppins?
"If ye had the chance to change yer fate... woudja?"So I'd like to blame this thread for the dream I woke up from yesterday. It was about Brave, and for about 3 minutes yesterday morning, I was convinced that I was Merida.
Yes, I laughed out loud."I'm Mary Poppins Y'all!"
