I'm planning a trip for my husband and I to visit WDW during the International Food and Wine Festival this year. We were engaged at Cinderella's Royal Table in September of 2005 and we were married November of last year. I would like to do something special since we will be visiting the house of the mouse in between these two dates. Does Disney offer any kind of special Anniversary package for dinner or anything like that?

Yes, sort of, and no. The Disney Florist offers TONS of things, and even has a brand new romance line that includes engagement type products (like an engravable glass slipper, a princess tiara, ect). Sort of because many restaurant locations will do something special at no charge. For example, captain jack's at Downtown Disney can float a "balloon boat" by your window-side table and hold up big signs saying "congratulations" or "Happy anniversary". Many restaurants do things like this on an individual basis. Lastely, no, because there is no organized "program" or such for things like this. Though, the Disney Florist is doing their best to start building said programs. Currently they offer delivery to ANY location on property. Even as specific as an attraction or show.

I just celebrated my 14th and had disney florist come up with a beautiful arrangement. I believe their sit is disneyflorist.com . Anyhow had the flowers delivered to the coral reef restaurant and had the GM set them on the table so when we got to the table my wife was shocked. She was mad at me all day thinking I forgot to do something for her. Well right back at her..

I have used the Disney Florist on many trips and each time there was some type of hitch. Not with the florist but with management. Last July we stayed in the Poly and it took me 5 phone calls and about 30 minutes to have the flowers/candy/balloons up in the room for when we checked in. I was assured months in advanced that it would not be a problem but even with calls 2 days and 1 day before arrival it was as if this was the first they heard of it. After finally getting a manager of the resort, while we were in EPCOT, I was assured that everything would be perfect and it was :) .

Another trip we had a cake sent to my Dad's room for his birthday but it never arrived. This was at the Grand Floridian but again it wasn't the florist it was the front desk. Their excuse was that there were no runners available to deliver it. We were quite upset that they didn't even call to let us know it was there but we would never let it spoil our time. After all how could you get that upset in DISNEY WORLD :)

Don't forget to pick up the Happy Anniversary badges at any Guest Relations, you may get a free dessert or glasses of champagne. My DH and I did last year for 1st anniversary!

Well, congrats! I will be down at about the same time of year and we are celebrating our 10th anniversary while we're down there. We honeymooned with the mouse so many years ago...

But I digress, thanks to those who mentioned the buttons at Guest Relations - I never would have known! :)

The Happy Anniversary badges sound like a cute idea. They gave us pins when we got engaged so it would be cute to have anniversary badges as well. Does anyone know that when I call to make my reservations can they help me with maybe arranging something at dinner or would I have to call the resteraunt directly? We would like to dine at Cinderella's Royal table since that is where we got engaged.

My Wife & I celebrated our Anniversary there in December '05. We went to the Luau @ Polynesian & my son told them it was our Anniversary. They had us go up on stage & dance along with any other couples celebrating Anniversaries.

We will be celebrating our 20th @ the World this year along with my 42nd B'Day. I have used the Disney Florist before & plan to use them again this year. I just called ahead & had several arrangements made up. A flower basket for my wife, a candy bar arrangement for my son & a Fruit Basket for a couple of friends that was traveling with us for that trip. When we checked into the rooms, everything was already there waiting.

Of course I am ten and not married yet, but I love my parents a lot and am happy for them, so if I can, I am hoping to get together with the other 11 people who are coming with us in dec.'07 ( my parents are coming but I am not telling them this), and make arrangements for a special gift from the family to celebrate their special 20th anniversy which will mean a lot to them. I am thinking maybe the Disney Florist or something specially made for them or a nice big dinner arrangment.

wow that would be really sweet! I know your parents would love it that you thought of this for them. Wow hope my little guy is as observant as you of our anniversary when he is 10.
