Why not add a “dark type” ride to Africa, they could use large capacity vehicles (Great Movie ride) and tell some of the darker legends of the African tribes.
Try this – guests enter an African museum and are invited to hear a story from a Shaman. They sit in the “theater” and then a mysterious Shaman (human cast member) starts to chant, then the room “transforms” into a cave or a hut and paintings on the wall (through 3D projection) come to life. Then the vehicle with the Shaman moves through different AA sequences as he tells the spooky story. At the end have some big effects - wind, water, fire, a drop or rotation then everything goes dark and we’re back at the museum and the Shaman is gone. Then a white cast member dressed as a Shaman comes in to tell the story through a slide show but an audience plant tells him that the Shaman has already told them the story. Guests exit as they try to figure out who this mysterious Shaman was.
