I am the idiot on the boards. I use macromedia Flash MX and expor it as a gif and then beg nice people like MainStreetUSA to resize it.

There is also Animation Shop by Jasc Soft. MSU also told me of Image Ready. You could also use Macromedia Fireworks MX.

There are tons of ways!!!

You need a string of GIFs, either made individually by yourself (my method) or created all at once using a designated pattern or animation effect. I make mine the free way, by downloading Microsoft Gif Animator (do a search on any download site), making a string of GIFs with MS Paint (poor quality, but free), and then putting them all together with MS Gif Animator. I don't know if the process is any different using a Mac. And, I don't know about the programs you have to buy.

Adobe ImageReady (part of Photoshop) is the most difficult program if you don't know what you are doing but it is by far the easiest once you learn it.

Istumble around untill something works, then can never remember how i did it. However to quote the Tool Man, real men dont need instructions.
