Did you go the beginning of January 2002, just a few months ago?

I went then and it was soooo cold! I could hardly enjoy myself. Well maybe thats an exaggeration but the cold definitely made it difficult to wait in lines and survive. But those little heat packs are a life saver, although they're annoying and small, and they last forever!:hammer: Does anyone else know what I'm talking about!?

If you do it with a raincoat on, it is actually a lot of fun! I did it before its openning in 1999. ;)

yeah, we have some of those heatpacks - they are v.useful :D

We had those back in NY..they are cool..but last a very short time...

I rode Kali back in the "colder" days at AK...its fun..and really wakes you up.

they are little envelopes filled with sand-textured material that heats up when exposed to oxygen. they last for like 8 hours. they are great for hands, feet, back pockets...... lol
