Are you going alone? What I normally do is walk to the back of the park upon arrival...briefly taking in the animals in the oasis and near the Tree of Life. I usually grab a FP for Kilimanjaro Safaris and then grab a bite to eat...if you aren't eating and are interested in seeing Wonders of Flight, then see that while waiting for the FP return time. Of course, that all depends on your timing, show times, and KS wait time. After the Safari I always go through Pangani Forest Trail. All of this can be done within 90 minutes to two hours. Next head over to Asia and hop on Kali River Rapids...then dry off by exploring the Maharajah Jungle Trek. Next head over to Expedition Everest and get into the single rider line (or if not traveling alone, the regular line). Since Finding Nemo doesn't have many frequent showings, I might grab a FP for Dinosaur and head back to Finding Nemo, or I might have time to catch Dinosaur before heading to Finding Nemo. Just be wary of show times. Then go ahead over to the Tree of Life and It's Tough to Be a Bug...and spend time exploring the animals around there. Then you can catch Festival of the Lion King...which has many more showings a day than Nemo. Depending on crowd size, you can potentially have time to revisit some of these attractions...I ALWAYS ride the safari at least twice.
Depending on Crowd size, this can take up until 4pm (depending on show times and if you plan on skipping any of the above). I generally squeeze in Rafiki's Planet Watch after the Pagani Trail...there's not much there, but it is interesting to see the animal buildings and they have a monitor set-up where you can view inside the animal houses. Since you are going on a EMH day, you definitely won't need to rush. But don't spend time running from one side of the park to get a FP...it's too big and you waste time. Just enjoy each section at a time. As I said, Festival of the Lion King has showings practically every hour (check the show guides when you get there) so don't worry so much bout that one as much as Finding Nemo, which only has a few showings a day. You may want to concentrate more on the animal-based attractions during the day...since they will be closed for EMH. Animal Kingdom doesn't seem to be as popular as the other parks for EMH, so the crowds won't be any larger than normal on a busy day. Just take your time and enjoy!
