I thinking it would be great... they could re-theme the little cabins to look like little homes of famous Disney critters (alot like Minnie and Mickey's houses at Toontown). Festival of the Lion King would of course stay there.... Pochahontas(sp?) would be replaced by.... well... just something... And then then could build a Bambi dark ride.... with a hidden message (like someone said) about not hunting or something like that. And then they could build an entrance to a cave on the side of the hill (it could be that cave where the Discovery Boats used to go by) and inside would be a large open.. bear exhibit. It could be themed with Brother Bear characters (like how Nemo is going into TLS). I also thought that somewhere around the entrance there could be animatronic moose (those two from the movie)..... anyway.... just wishing*

absolutely WONDERFUL idea!

Great ideas guys....

Pride Rock exists in two ways. The home for the lions on the safari is shaped to resemble pride rock and it is the name of the main cafeteria for the cast :)

Like I said before, animals alone are the attraction. Education is also an attraction. Education is a staple of any Disney product. Watch any Disney cartoon whether it's a movie or TV show and there is a message.

With that said, attractions are what keep the masses coming back. And I agree when you pay the big bucks, you expect much more than a zoo.

Dinoland is fine, but pushing the limit of Disney standards.

Now my idea. Australia seems like a great addition to me although the North and South America themes have a ton to offer.
My Australia is in the shape of a horshshoe. At the back of the horseshoe is the area's icon, Ayers Rock. Coming into the horseshoe is a kids roller coaster, "Kanga and Roo Hop". The roller coaster is basically lots of hills but instead of riding the hills like a normal coaster, the seats remain vertical. Sort of a pivot so that you would feel more like bouncing and less like riding.
On one side of the horseshoe would be shopping and dining with the other side a replica of the Sydney Opera House with a show, possibly an early evening show, like Fantasmic (I took that idea from the previous post) or a Character restaurant. Ayers Rock would house an indoor roller coaster like Rockin Roller Coaster at the studios. The basic storyline is an underwater trip with sea turtles on the Australian current like in Nemo. On top of Ayer's Rock is an observation deck where you can see the outside of the horseshoe which is where the Australian Outback Dune Buggie Safari is located. Specially designed dune buggies, not as loud as the originals and can hold considerably more than usual, take riders through the wilds of Australia.

Just an idea. Thanks for listening.

Yes it is popular, but our capacity is smaller than MKs, yes we are a much larger park but that's actually because most of our attractions take up more room.
But everyday I meet at least 2 or 3 families that say this is their favorite park. I am sure each park is like that, but it just goes to show that each park appeals to a slightly different group.
