We've stayed here more than once. Our kids (boys) love it. The savannah view rooms are the best. When they were younger, we got a room with a queen and bunk beds. The rooms are a little smaller than at some of the other deluxe hotels, but there are slightly larger rooms available called either "junior" or "deluxe," don't really remember. We've stayed concierge once, so we could take the early morning safari that is offered.
I think kids really enjoy this one, but the atmosphere is fabulous for adults, too! We took binoculars, and our sons would sit on the balcony watching the animals. The savannahs around the hotel can feature different animals, so you might want to ask. We like the center one best, I think it's called Arusha. We had a real mosquito problem around the pool, so bring something along for that.
The dining options are great here, if you like something a little different. There are special programs for kids, including an evening storyteller around the great fire outside. There is a longer commute time from here to some of the parks, but the atmosphere is magical.
