Animal Kingdom Breakfast

Hi all,

What's open for breakfast at AK? I know Tusker House has a character meal. Kusafari used to do breakfasty type stuff but I checked the menu and it appears to be less of that. Any suggestions?

Very good question. I don't know of any place except maybe the Harambe Marketplace that has fruit and such?

We got decent breakfast at Pizzafari. One of the platters was pretty standard stuff...bacon, eggs, sausage. The other was a nice mix with spinach and goat cheese.

I was thinking of that - just grabbing a piece of a fruit and maybe bring some granola bars from home. And then just get an early lunch.

The only place we've ever had breakfast at Animal Kingdom is the Rainforest Café. We've done breakfast there a few times and find it enjoyable. I think there are some interesting counter service options in the park too. I would like to try both the spinach and goat cheese frittata at Pizzafari and the ham, egg and cheese flatbread at Tamu Tamu.

It's not inside AK. It's just outside the ticket gates, off to the left. But, yes, there is a Rainforest Cafe at AK.

Great to hear! We typically do the Tusker House character breakfast; however we wanted to try something different on our upcoming trip. We have always enjoyed Tusker House, so it was a hard decision for us-why change something that isn't broken Last year we had dinner at the Rainforest Café and the kids really loved the atmosphere.

After eating the stalest bagel ever from there, I avoid Kusafiri. That being said , I may have to add the goat cheese frittata to my must try list.

We've had breakfast at the Rainforest and Pizzafari. I'd go with the Rainforest

Yes, there are two locations. Its not inside AK though. Just at the enterance.
