Yes, I am guilty of using my refillable mug (one I really bought; not one from the 7-11) on more than one trip to ASMu, but I did ask a CM if it was OK. She said yes, sort of. Another said she didn't know; another said didn't think so. I went with the first CM. :lol:

I know there has been many, many threads on this subject, but I would like to know who holds the record of using a genuine mug from the same resort? Be honest now. :goodnevil

It is all right ILOVEDISNEY, many people around here have admitted to doing the same thing. There must be genuine confusion on this issue, although it was clear to me when I bought my All Star mug that it was good for unlimited refills during the length of my stay (NOT FOREVER and EVER AMEN.)

Anyway, just ask yourself it is worth the hassle if some Food & Beverage Supervisor were to call you on it. You, there with your family and kids, in essence being accused of taking something you aren't entitled to have without paying. I'm one who tends to stay away from that risk. The verbal shoutdown is not a vacation highlight for me.

We have about 9 Port Orleans mugs from rebuying on each visit so we have started packing a couple on our return trip since the logo has not changed and I am tired of having a cabinet full of the same mug when we return. I am not sure how guilty I feel about it because I bet there are lots out there who do return with the same mug from the last visit, especially when the visits have only been a couple of months apart. I don't know...am I a bad person now for admitting this? :goodnevil

Well... as far as using mugs from other resorts I wouldnt do it but I see all the time. We usually stay at POR and the mug designs have changed 3 times that ive seen. The current color scheme mugs I have used about 4 trips now. Yes I know that they are for the length of the stay but I dont like to think of it our trip being over....but more like just not going to our room for a while.

Only about 120 or so days till we go back to out room.

The Contemporary had the same mug design last May as this May, and I was kind of counting on that, so I brought along our old mug. I saw people walking around with the older silver ones, so I didn't feel bad at all.

We have all star music mugs that we've been using since before the movies resort was built....something like 7 trips now over the last 6 years.

I always pack the best looking two of our three mugs to take, and then buy one new one. That eases my guilt a little. If they changed the design every year, I would probably buy all new mugs every year. But it seems like a waste to buy the exact same mug over and over. I will buy new mugs this year, cause we're going to stay at a different resort then Movies, which is where we've been staying forever. On the other hand, I've seen people using mugs from forever ago--like the from when the resort first opened, and from other resorts.

Guys don't feel bad for using older mugs. I was staying at Pop Century a couple days ago and i wanted to try something so i brought a mug from all star music. Actually 3. And they were from 1996 and we used them and CM's saw us and didn't say anything!
