Very excited here. Due to phone issues on our 180th day out, I was unable to secure an 8am CP reservation for our first day AND an 8am CRT reservation for our last day. I was able to snag 8:35 for both, with the hopes of getting better times.

So, for the last month or so, I've been checking the site, looking for earlier times. Well, about 10 minutes ago, I happened to check for 9/16 and to my surprise, there sits an 8:20am CP breakfast. So of course I jumped all over it and grabbed it. 15 minutes might not seem like much, but that's 15 minutes closer to us being done eating and out in the parks at opening. Now I just have my fingers crossed in hopes of an earlier CRT time.





And that is why you keep checking the site for better times......... :D

Similar situation here. I switched my CP day and dropped my 8:05a ADR and had to settle for an 8:20a. I check every day, but I know my best time to try and get an 8:05a for the new day is in those last few weeks. It really is one of those ADRs where 15-20 min is a big deal.

Congrats on the time upgrade and I'm sure with the CC guar that you'll upgrade again as you get closer. :D

Good going. I love me a nice CP breakfast! We were lucky and had no issues getting times and places we wanted. Glad you could snag a time you wanted.
We're hitting it up on our September\October trip as well.

One of my concierge's made a CRT reservation tonight for dinner on Thursday for a guest. Moral of the story, ALWAYS keep checking! You just never know what you might get.

Crystal Palace breakfast is ALWAYS my first and last meal at my magical home. Nothing says welcome home like a big old hug from Eeyore and some puffed french toast!

I employ the same strategy for airfare - I book the cheapest flight of the day and check back multiple times a day to see if my preferred flight time changed in price. (Southwest has no change fees). I'd rather do that than get a credit I will never use. It's a bit of a different scenario since I could GET the time I want I am just hoping not to pay out the nose for it.

Congrats! I'm trying to do something similar for 2 of my ADRs. Hoping to get something a little sooner then what we currently have so I've been looking at least once a day but usually multiple times a day.

yay :) i have the same strategy if where i want/time i want is not available :) more times than not, i get my reservation :)

Good luck! I was able to get better times at O'Hana and 1900 Park Fare this week so I totally understand!

oh how funny, we have CP reservsations on 9/16 for 8:45am!
