Prayers and good thoughts for my family today - there will be a formal indictment today and many of us will be there for moral support. I would like to make a statement - don't know if I'm allowed, guess I'll see.
Well Jenny, like I said before, I'm glad to see justice is being served. I'm sorry your family has to go through all this though. Hopefully they won't have to go back to court.Well, I didn't get to say anything....in fact we didn't even get to see her, we sat in the waiting room, all of us, and the prosecutor came out to talk to us. This girl committed this crime, while out on bond for something else! :zipit: The guy that we think helped her, has already served time for theft in the past. They haven't found him yet, but they have a pretty good idea who it is. They also feel confident that she will talk, as she's pretty much dug her hole already. The judge set the current bond at $101,000, but the pros. said he could have set it at 2K and she couldn't have paid it. I think she's toast.
I asked about us as family writing letters about the effect this has had on us, and she was very encouraging that way. So now I will think a good long time about what to say about all of this. And it's very possible that Mom and Dad won't even have to go back to court - I hope that's true, as Mom was visibly shaking with her nerves. Also, the assault charge will be filed separately, as the theft is a felony and the assault is a misdemeanor.

You took the words right out of my mouth, Nibbs. Jenn, I'm so very sorry that all this happened in the first place. But it does seem like you're in good hands and are doing what is right.
That's great! Justice will be served. Hopefully, she'll rat the guy out. I doubt that trash like that will ever learn their lesson.Well, I didn't get to say anything....in fact we didn't even get to see her, we sat in the waiting room, all of us, and the prosecutor came out to talk to us. GREAT point, Dana! I totally agree.Susie..what about staying somewhere else?..Poly is kind of pricey..so maybe a moderate or a suite at the values?..You will still be at Disney..
GREAT point, Dana! I totally agree.
I've stayed at the Poly, concierge level (RIDICULOUSLY amazing deal, or else we'd never be able to afford it), and it was great and all. But looking back, lodging made no difference to us than when we stay at Port Orleans, when looking at the overall vacation. What DOES make a big difference is not having to worry about money when you're there and truly ENJOYING each and every minute of Disney. If it decreases the stress, I think Dana's idea is a great one!

Hey I like Bon Jovi, but they were having some serious issues, Heather Lockler's ex-husband sounded like he was losing his voice and wasn't keeping up with the notes...:lol: No, I know you're not. Dot has a smiley she uses sometimes where one's hitting another across the head w/ a fish.
