An Old Timer ... Making a Return!

Hello all!

Let me start off by saying it's been AGES since my last visit to WDW (we've been cruising over the last few years) and we've finally booked our next vacation to the Sunshine State.

My last visit was when I was 14 - I'm 19 now and already got those Disney goosebumps! Just a quick question really .....

The family has a new DSLR camera (which is lovely, but comes with a relative size issue (as you can imagine). Knowing me, I'll be the one carrying the thing around, don't get me wrong .... it comes in a handy sling bag type thing (it's like a pickpockets paradise). Anyway, are their lockers near certain attractions for storing things and whatnot?

There are lockers at each park (typically at the front of the park) but there are no rides to my knowledge that have lockers near them for storing gear. You will simply have to take the stuff on the ride with you.

Don't put it in your pocket

Take a rucksack (or similar) its far easier to keep everything together

If you have a sister or something who wouldn't look as weird carrying a purse around (or if you're just a very self-assured guy, haha), I used a drawstring bag to carry ours last year and just put it on backwards when getting on coasters and such so that I wouldn't lose it. They stretch out so they can be as large or small as you need them to be.

Or this case from has a fannypack option that could work (depends on the size of the camera):

Just realized you already have a bag for it and you were just wondering about lockers... which people have pretty much already answered. Sorry about that! Failed attempt at helpfulness, haha

Hi there, Enjoy your time at Disney. Alot has changed in 5 years, you will love it. There are lockers at Magic Kingdom right when you enter the park before you get passed the Rail Road station, actually it's right underneath the railroad station. There are also lockers at all the other parks. If you want to take pictures throughout the park, I would carry a backpack. That is your best best. That is what my husband and I do. In the past I carried a purse, big mistake, a backpack is the easiest and most rides have a place to store it, if not you can put it between your legs with the straps attached under your feet around your legs.
