I'd rather have these than not at all.
I suppose they would be better than nothing, I'll give you that. The style of the older ones is far superior, though.

The thing is I don't think the old ones are modern enough. Sure I love them and think they're great, but they don't suit today's future world. I think we need something to unify them, with the same ideas. Maybe still in the circles but with a bit more detail or something?

That's what I think the Project Tomorrow logos are. A bit more detailed, but less sleek.
Anything to unify Future World would be good at this point, IMHO.

I think they need LESS detail. The WORST logo by far was the most detailed and obvious, Wonders of Life.
The reason why you would need to change them is because the pavilions HAVE CHANGED. Test Track needs a new logo. Imagination needs a new logo. Innoventions needs a new logo. The list goes on. The ideas and concepts behind the first set of logos don't fit the new future world, that's the major problem.
Exactly. I'd always thought they'd gone a tad bit lazy with the Wonders of Life symbol. I'd disagree that the Innoventions and Imagination symbols need to be changed, though. Even the World of Motion symbol could just be tweaked a little to better represent Test Track. What really needs to be done is improve the Transportation content there. They definitely need to develop a new symbol for Mission: SPACE, though.

I'm not so sure about the project tomorrow logos, they don't obviously show the theme of the pavilion (Imagination and WoL are too similar). But like you say less sleek.
But I think we can all agree, we need some continuity between the logos.
Exactly, I'm not overly keen on World of Motion anyway and I don't think that correctly represents Test Track.
I think the logos are a bit dated? I mean they show their age. But I wonder if they got a bit of silver shiny treatment and some different colours then maybe they'd work better...

Bumping. His Journey Into Imagination soundtrack is up today and it sounds great. Sounds even better then the stuff on Martin's Imagination audio collection.

Great comp! Sounds like the tracks that have been floating around but cleaned up thru software. Definitely an improvement!
Have you guys heard the Disney tracks on the new(ish) Sherman Brothers Songbook? Holy moly do those sound amazing! There are new remastered (maybe even remixed) versions of all their Disney park classics and I've never heard them EVER sound as good and as clear. Listen to One Little Spark back to back with the version on there and the one that's been around forever and you'll be floored.

Well from the new blog post talking more about the restoration process on some of the tracks for the Imagination album, he's hinting towards a Spaceship Earth release in early July.
