American Idol outside viewing screen is going up

The artwork for american idol has changed considereably, and it will look more like the old ABC theatre.

Gone is the circular LED screen and there will be a large flat screen (maybe projection, or still led). It is partially up now.

Well, of course the circular screen is gone from DHS. Why else would the earth globe be down right now? Duh! :lookaroun

Oh, OK the big black "box" on the ground behind the wall is for the screen. I thought the OP said that it was partially up and was looking on the "tower" :lol:. BTW...Thanks for the links.

Ha! I knew they'd wimp out on that big grand building makeover everyone was looking forward too. It'll still be ABC theatre, just painted blue with American Idol signage up there.

Honestly, I'm glad. I like the look of ABC theatre, though the huge Jumbotron blasting annoying people singing will get tiring REALLY fast.

I'm disappointed about this. I thought the building actually looked pretty cool in the concept art. It would liven up the area. Now, I just don't know what they're thinking...:(

Maybe Disney realized that American Idol is a sinking ship and they are cuttting the budget. It always seemed like a waste to build this attraction.
