Let me start with im not sure if this is right place to post this, so PLEASE feel free to move...

Now, on a reality tv blog/website. The writer says that at least ONE of the Top 24 of the American Idol show is a winner from teh American Idol Experience.

Maybe if this is true, this could make teh AIE a more "popular" place to try out and give people more incentive to try out.

Nice!

I'm surpised they didn't have people audition here at DHS! Kinda sucks- hope they reference it in an upcoming audition episode.

Even if Aaron doesn't win, I hope they use him when they update the preshow video (which will be extra necessary after Simon leaves). But where will I go for my "other door!" fix??

Have they already had Hollywood Week? I thought the auditions were all done months ahead of time, and then Hollywood Week is happening the same week it's being recorded.

Ryan Seacrest was tweeting all last week about them taping Hollywood week last week so yeah, they've finished doing it.

Even if Simon leaves, that series won't be cancelled for a long time. It's a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE moneymaker.

The attraction though, should be, and will be gone soon!! Useless!!

It only makes money as long as enough viewers are watching it... once Simon leaves a lot of people will find it less interesting since his insults are bloody brilliant.

While it won't be the same, i'm sure they will be able to find a decent replacement for simon that will be able to keep interest for at least a couple more seasons after he leaves.

I've been surprised so far that AIE has gotten NO mentions in the first three episodes...I mean NOTHING that I've seen!!! Then again, they maybe saving it for the local audition episodes when they get an AIE winner thru to the "big room". Its just surprising that there's been no mention of it by anyone, whether on the show or that we've seen no WDW commericals with it either.

Simon Cowell is bringing the X Factor (the successer to our Pop Idol in the UK) to the US, if it does well does anyone think they'd be a chance that would retheme AIE?
