Well, I don't want to argue with anyone. I'm just expressing my own opinion. I agree with most of the previous posts. I'm not interested in this attraction at all and I'm pretty surprised they would sink money into something like this, but that's just me. I'll pass it by and go on something I enjoy and hopefully the lines will be a little bit shorter because of it.

I guess only time will tell whether it's a success or not. My only concern is these big screens outside of the theater. If they're going to blast it in my face just walking through the park, I won't appreciate that much.

Yes it is the cause of much excited debate on boards over here. Im taking in Airbourne in early Nov to tide me over.

In a summer where Ive seen Leppard, Whitesnake, Journey and Fish.....its a virtual time warp.

Well, I would go and see it. At least once. I like the idea that the show is different every time due to different participants. I watch AI on TV and enjoy it with my family. And I don't watch a lot of TV. So this thing has potential in my mind. My worry is that I suspect that Disney doesn't really know what the finished product is going to look like, and is spending big money on a concept without a finished plan. I can't say exactly what's giving me that feeling.........but my "gut" tells me that this whole thing is somebodys personal agenda item. And now they have a team of people figuring it out as they build it. Before anybody says that Disney wouldn't be that foolish..............tossing money down a toilet without really knowing the details happens to the best of them. Even Disney. This feels like somebody important saying....."I have an idea". OR a huge sponsorship from the folks at AI who want to extend the influence of their brand in a declining market. Maybe Disney is getting paid, instead of paying for a license. Who knows.

So we'll see. Also, the more I think about it, the more I really believe that Fantasmic's reduction has to do with AI's absorbing a finite entertainment budget. There just wasn't enough money to do both. Nothing more devious than a fixed budget and another show getting the cash. So AI BETTER be good. It will make the nights that Fantasmic shows really interesting because the crowds will tell the tale.
