American Adventure / American Express sponsorship ?

Since Disney and American Express are severing their relationship as of December 31, 2002 in favor of the new Disney Rewards Visa, in conjunction with Bank One, (due out sometime in early spring 2003)...

Will AMEX still be the sponsor of the American Adventure in Epcot?
Or will Bank One take over as the new sponsor? Cause the Bank One / Disney Visa will be the new official card for Disney.

Does AMEX sponsor anything else in WDW? I can’t remember right now....

I just hope this new card is cool.... and the rewards (points) thing works well since they are getting rid of the Disney club.

Sponsorship changes make me nervous.

It wouldn't scare my if Pepsi took over the "Cool Station" at EPCOT Center....but American Adventure is one of the last true masterpeices at WDW.

Whew.....maybe I'm just becomming paranoid these days with all the recent WDI plans.

Right...that is why I thought I would toss that question out there... who knows... Amex will probly stay as the AA sponsor.. and nothing with change... *lets hope*

I'm pretty certain that Amex is gone from the American Adventure after the rest of their deals get terminated, but not 100% certain.

One thing that is for sure is that the American Adventure was one of the ONLY attractions at WDW that was maintained to the level of quality that Disney is famous for (the other being Journey Into Imagination 3, solely because it has not been there long enough to rot). I would hate to see those precious dollars that do get spent on the pavilion get yanked away because Amex's incentives and monthly checks are not made out to Disney anymore.
