I thought it might be fun to share pics of those special and amazing moments that happen while in WDW/DL. I love hearing about everyone's "pixie dust" experiences or those moments that are just special to you, your family, friends, etc.

To start us off... here's a picture of my son "playing baseball" with Mr. Incredible and Frozone. This all started because Frozone saw my son's baseball ears. Frozone is pretending to pitch while Mr. Incredible is the catcher. My son got to hit the ball and run the bases - all while being cheered on by the characters and CM. It was truly an amazing moment!

This needs explaining!!!!! This was my first ever WDW trip in 2008, this was the first day. I'm from the UK and had never been to America. I was amazed that America had Squirrels!!!! So I took a few pictures!!!!!!! It is there, look carefully!!

I never really thought about it, but squirrels are pretty cool to have running around! Love that you associate them with WDW! :)

Was this something planned or was she chosen randomly while you were there? Either way, absolutely amazing!!

It was planned. The commercial was part of Disney's "What Will You Celebrate" campaign. Here is the commercial - our part is the third of the three "stories". My son is in the Hawiian shirt and my daughter is the infant.

We did kind of the same thing. We're from the North and have no lizards up here. On an early trip my little brother spent most of it looking for the little lizards running around the parks.

Lol! I was amazed by the Geckos, we don't have them in the UK either! When we were staying at the Portofino at Universal there were geckos everywhere you tried to step! Unfortunately we sometimes saw some that had been run over by the rickshaws!

And they are very tame - I watched a young lady attempting to pet one at Splash Mountain - I was debating whether or not to tell her they have very long teeth and are prone to bite. Sometimes, you need to learn that lesson....

Yes
The first time I ever saw the MSEP at MK was a great experience for me last year because I had only seen it on the internet before then. Paired with the fact that I thought it was an extinct parade at the time, I was incredibly excited and surprised.

The USA has several varieties of squirrels, and some other similar critters from the family of furry rodents. Gray squirrels (which I think is in this picture) are very common across the USA.

They are cute and fun to watch, until they get into your home. Yes, squirrels are known to infest homes and have to be removed by an exterminator. We had a pair start a family in a past home. We first heard the scratching in the walls and ceiling, then an odor. We found a nest in the attic, and several holes in the fascia boards at the roof line. Not so amazing or nice to have to get rid of them. :depressed:

Oh, and like other rodents, they are prone to carrying diseases, especially rabies. You should never try to pick up a squirrel or try to feed one, because of the diseases they carry.

The squirrels around my house are a pain and are destructive things. I also have geckos hanging on my screens during the summer. They aren't cute like they portray in the TV commercial. Lizards don't bother my too much, but snakes do.

Feh. Squirrels don't bother me. It's the raccoons you gotta watch out for. Mean-spirited little cusses.
