Alumni question...

I've asked several people, and gotten different answers...

I did the Disney Career Start program, and was there for an entire year. NEVER did the CP, not in college. BUT, again, I was THERE for a year...even had a CP evaluation from my home room manager before I left.

with that said, would I be eligible for the CP alumni program? I've gotten various answers from no, you have to be in college or no, you had to have completed a CP program, to yes, you did the Career Start program. In fact, some have told me they know others that did the alumni program that did the CS prior.

I am not positive, but I want to say you have to do the CP in order to do the alumni program. It might help to email recruiting and ask

Already emailed recruiting, and waiting feedback. I almost bet that is the case, but again, I am also hearing that since Career Start is part of the program (much like ICP), that I would be qualified.

Just got this email, and I am posting it in case ANYONE ELSE ever has this question....

We have not established plans for a 2012 summer program for program alumni at this time. However, if an alumni program becomes available for next summer, you would be able to apply having done the career start program.

You need to be an alumni of some sort to do a summer program. And for professional internships, you don't need to be an alumni but it's definitely a huge plus if you are.

On a similar note, I did the CP and completed it successfully but have restricted rehire for some reason, I'm assuming because I didn't meet transfer guidelines at the end of my program, that's the only explanation I've ever been given. Am I eligible for an alumni program?

Not unless they lift the restricted rehire
