Hey guys: Long time, no see!! My best friend and I are planning a Disney trip; we're going on a four-night Disney cruise (my very first ever) and staying for three-nights are the Polynesian Resort. :sohappy: :sohappy: Now, I went there once and didn't have time to do anything. Since I have more time to spend there, I wanted your recommendations and suggestions as to what we should do there. :veryconfu :veryconfu Thank you so much in advance for your help. I really appreciate it. God bless and happy Mickey

spirit of aloha dinner show...

Go to the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at the Polynesian....We went in April, it was great. They have it right on the Polynesian's grounds....Lots of food, music, and hula dancing.... They also take a picture of the family before you go in....It is a little costly, but worth it......Have fun...

goofysgirl80 - I'm assuming you mean what to do at the Poly? And not WDW in general...because this would be a looooong response to the "What do I do at WDW" question.

The Poly is tons of fun. As is any WDW resort.

First explore the resort for yourself. It has lots of great detail.

Go to the Spirit of Aloha luau! Great show...and lots and lots of food. The pineapple bread is yummy!!!

If you're into character breakfasts...and/or Lilo & Stitch, go to the Ohana and Friends Character Breakfast. The food is served family style (which means it's all you care to eat and they will bring it to your table). Lilo & Stitch, Pluto, Mickey are there. And it's fun for kids...and kids at heart.

Kona Cafe is good too. One of our favorites. The crab cake appetizer...the steak...yummy!

We're going to try the Ohana dinner for the first time in August. People rave about it all the time.

The Poly also has 2 nice pools, which includes the Nanea Volcano Pool, featuring a grotto slide and children's wet play area.

They have a beach, which is a great place to see Wishes (but no music is played) and to see the Electrical Water pageant, which is generally right before Wishes.

You can also walk from the Poly to the TTC. Or go from the Poly to the Grand Floridian (go to their spa or see the wedding chapel.)

Oh, and lastly you can rent water crafts there and get some catch-and-release fishing in.

Okay...hope this helps!
