Aloha Isle..Dole Whips ?

Hey, I was just looking at a map of the Magic Kingdom (I like to flip through them sometimes), and I saw a place under quick bites named Aloha Isle. Any way, I feel kind of stupid because I've been to Disney plenty of times, and I never had a Dole Whip. I remember people talking about them before on this site, but I never knew exactly what they were. Can someone help me out? :veryconfu

Think of it as Dole pinnapple juice whipped into an icecream. It isn't icecream per se' but has the same texture. I had my first one at DL in February. Everyone should try one at least once. They also have Dole Whip floats. :wave:

dole whip is a type of non-dairy soft serve ice cream like treat that comes in mostly fruit flavors along with chocolate and vanilla pineapple is just one of the flavors they have orange, raspberry, toasted coconut, black cherry, cherry, banana, mango, lime, papaya....and many others

i'm not sure why it's called dole whip but its very good and a bit grainy texture because of the way it is made.

it comes in powder form and is mixed with water to pour into the hopper of the ice cream dispenser

if you've ever had "Wow Cow" type of Ice cream at a local Ice cream shop...the texture is much like that
