Do not pet the alligators.
While waiting for the family at Splash Mountain, a snake came out to sun himself.I've seen one at Caribbean Beach and Animal Kingdom, and a snake at Port Orleans.

Once the next crowd came off the ride, he slithered back to the bushes.
Never seen a gator but we saw a TON of Deer on this past trip esp. near the EC Mono line and by WL.
Take a night time walk through Ft Wilderness and you will see a ton especially if you do it with the flash light off.Never seen a gator but we saw a TON of Deer on this past trip esp. near the EC Mono line and by WL.
Sadly, some people have to told that!Do not pet the alligators.
Yep... Was pretty cool.Another reason Wilderness Lodge is great. Driving up to the massive Jurassic Park gate and seeing that bear crossing sign and deer walking about.

Boy ain't that the truth. We use to have them walking across our back yard. I remember back in the 70s on the Marshmallow Marsh, the CMs use to point the gators out.... The only thing you have to remember is, don't pet the alligators.I grew up in Florida and spent all but the last 3 years of my 38 years there.
It is very hard to keep Gators out of anything.
Should I be worried? This is a little too close for comfort for me.
