Now we know how Disney is driving per guest spending...lolI had the same thought. I was like that was a waste of a good margarita.

HA! It's the thought that counts.Yes, because a screen around a patio is going to stop a very hungry 8 foot gator going after that purse dog barking at it....
Or those late night cramming sessions for finals in Strozier. Which now includes food. Neither of which was allowed back when I was studying at 2AM in Strozier for a final.....
Not there as a student. I was cleaning up an IT mess as a consultant.
Walking along roa this morning and saw small alligator tucked back in underbrush. Was nearly dead center of frontier land and on the inside of walkway. Is it real or just a really good replica
Real. I saw it swimming under the lower bridge next to SM when we were there back in October.
We saw two at the same time in September.
And the famous three legged one a few years back.
The original post reminds me that this last summer, while riding the train at DisneyLand at night, we saw a HUGE rat scurrying along the perimeter. Clearly had enjoyed some after hours snacks in the park.
"rat schmat...what do they know? they're tourists!"
No seriously, we really did see the rat.
Yes. An Egret came up to my oldest son and I while eating a turkey leg in Frontierland. Very aggressive bird. Was trying to bite at the food while we were eating it. Bird was freaking him out and he was 10 at the time. Had to aggressively shoo the bird away. We finally had enough and left the area. Of course to others I probably looked like the mean animal hater. But, I don't care. When I'm in the parks and I see a bird poop on someone. I just laugh and walk away.Every time I'm at the parks and see people playing with the wildlife (and in some cases literally picking them up) I want to throw my head through the nearest wall. Its people like that which caused one of those big white egrets to swoop over, stalk, and eventually grab a corn dog nugget right out of my cup a few weeks ago.
Saw one in the grasses along the shoreline in the Lagoon once when riding the monorail from GF to the Magic Kingdom.
While I was in Frontierland a couple years ago I saw the gator. At first I thought it was an AA cause Disney would have used magic to get rid of Gators right?
