Alladin

Maybe they should have made the carpets turn completely upside down. Now that would rock!!!

Come on, leave Aladdin alone. It's meant for kids, and in that regard it's a great ride especially as the whole family can ride together on one carpet unlike Dumbo or AstroOrbitor.

I agree. Give it a break. It is a good ride, In my opinion it looks more fun than Dumbo. When I was little I didn't even WANT to ride Dumbo, I wanted to ride Star Jets over and over again... AND I DID!!! I can't even remember if I've been on Dumbo or not cuz as I've gotten older I have spent my time hitting only the must-sees and then getting out of MK as fast as possible.

It's a cool ride. It is very basic but I like what they have done with it. The themeing around the area is decent but a bit on the controvesial side.

Personaly, I think Aladdin is an awesome ride. That was one of my main reasons for going back to Adventureland over and over again :D . If the majority of you weren't so biased against anything that looks like they spent no time on it, then you might open your eyes and see that it really IS a great ride. I mean, look at things from the eys of a child. They don't see that the colors clash or that it's the same ride they just rode in Fantasyland with a differently styled car. They just see that it's fun and that they want to ride it again and again. And isn't that who the ride is built for? Oh, and Triceratops Spin? I loved that too.

Also, Tomorrowland Indy Speedway is out place. Tomorrowland is not a view of the future from the past. Since New Tomorrowland opened, the story behind Tomorrowland si that it is a space colony which is populated by aliens and machines and that every once and awhile, a human tourist shows up to see their wonderful city. The league of planets is their centerpiece, the town square of sorts. The Indy Speedway fits into this storyline in NO way.

Ok ok ok...I agree...the TOMORROWLAND INDY SPEEDWAY does not fit in AT ALL. If they want to retheme it, it may fit in but even if they just slap a new body style on the cars, it's still a car. It's still a car that runs on gas, pollutes the air, and stinks up the entire area around it.

Not only this...but how many cast members does it take to run this ONE attraction???

I say, tear down the attraction, and to fit in with the theme, make it a robot testing facility. You could sit in transforming cars. (maybe a battle-bots type thing). I don't know...anything would be better than what's there now!

My two youngest like the Alladin ride better than the Dumbo ride they love the idea of the Camels spitting water at you. The fact that the que is pretty short is a big bonus too.

I would rather be on Aladdin that Dumbo, because the lines are shorter and the ride does the same thing. Also on hot days the camels are great.

Anything that a 2 year old will wait to ride in July heat and humidity must be OK! Both my kids have waited patiently to ride Dumbo when they were that age and last year, aged 3 and 6, they did the same for Aladdin.

Heading for the great escape.
This the the verdict from my daughter Micky,
"Its pretty cool and its good that we can go on without you or mum. The only thing is its in the wrong place the decoration dosent match. Besides its a kiddie ride and should be in the kiddie part of the park. that bits for Pirates, it dosent look as good now."
Well that is the opinion of a future long term Disney guest

How can all these people like Aladdin???? It's a waste of space and concept. You know how much cooler it would be to fly on magic carpets through the story rather than ride around the same Magic Lamp for 2 min. Those camels are not that great because they barly spit I timed them once when they stood in front of the character dinner they had where the playhouse Disney show is now. The thing that gets me is there are now three spin rides in MK. And they've opened two with in three months of one and other.

I agree that I would rather have the story, but I'll take what I can get. And when I was there in December the camels were spitting a lot. Everytime we went around we got wet.

I was just at WDW during Mardi Gras and even though it was hot there was no spit. Maybe these props from the original Aladdin parade are having problems after being used for so many years.

Like I said when I was there I had no problems with the camels (or the lines for the ride). We could have rode Aladdin 10 times in the time it would have taken us to get on Dumbo once.

I guess that shows Disney that they missed big time with that attraction. People like us who have been to Disney so many times don't mind a ride on Aladdin because we've done Dumbo before. Yet everyone else still wants to do Dumbo because it's a classic and it creats memories of flying with Dumbo behind the castle unlike flying on a carpet with out Aladdin by the Tikki room.

Well people see Dumbo in the videos and commercials. They see all the people talking about memories of flying in an elephant. But people are also saying now that they like Aladdin (well except for some). Just wish we could say the same for Triceratop Spin.

The carnival games at Hester's and Chester's are the biggest waste and make Animal Kingdom look like garbage. The Spin coaster looks ok but the rest of it is garbage. I'm slowly warming up to Aladdin but never will I like Hester's and Chesters. I know why security is so tight now because they have to make sure us Disney fans don't go tear down Hester's and Chesters:lol:

I agree, the carnival games are stupid, if we wanted to do those, we would go to an amusement park. I mean, come on. I like Alladin, but it does clash with the theme, I think they need to start theming better.
