It was too bad he couldn't stay, I knew Phillips, great intelligent guy with a very good business mind. I think his past with Ellison hurt him in being able to stay.

Any investor that saw AT&T spin off properties and thought it was a good place to put money is insane. Both them and Verizon wanted to corner content to distribute in house to thier customers but failed miserably, just like the billions they spent on 5G mm wave.
