It is rumored that Superman The Escape will be defunct soon.
Magic Flyer was a kiddie coaster. It's a lot like the Camp Snoopy version.Psyclone! That’s the one I’m missing. Thought it was mid 90s. Wow so that first trip with my dad they literally only had 4-5 coasters. I’m guessing Magic Flyer was a kiddie coaster?
No longer made parts.Bummer, why?

It costs $$$$ to run, and the new Six Flags has closed a number of older/expensive attractions in the last several months without warning, including the world's tallest roller coaster in New Jersey.Bummer, why?

I think Superman is one of the last in the world. That’s too bad. I’m not a huge coaster/ thrill ride enthusiast but it’s a pretty unique ride no?
It is said Viper might be next too for the same reasons.
Here is where Flashback used to be:

Speaking of restraints failing, I was half way up lift hill on Riddler's Revenge until I realized my seat belt wasn't on. I buckled it really quick before the drop.Top all time rides at Magic Mountain for me -
Riddlers Revenge (when it was buttery smooth back in the day)
OG Colossus
Goliath
Tastu is great too if you can avoid thinking about what would happen if the restraints failed.

Teenager ride operators too busy talking to each other instead of caring about safety.Wow. Ummm how on earth was the ride able to start?
Absolutely! When it opened it was the tallest and fastest coaster in the world. It got even better in later years when they turned the cars around so you could see the ground and just how high in the air you were! It certainly will be missed by me. Though I should note that the park will be a lot quieter; Superman was deafening every time it launched! That’s too bad. The backwards launch sounds so much less scary for me. If I can see the station/ground, I'm far more secure feeling. It is when I shoot up to a blank sky without any reference points where I get freaked out.Not sure why I knew that but haven’t see any other images of rides that look like Superman. I did it once where it pulled you backwards! It went so fast I felt like my brain was still at the loading area while my body was 1,000 feet in the air. Sort of an out of body experience.

The seatbelts aren’t connected to the ride control system. They’re just an extra bit but not really part of what is holding you in place.Wow. Ummm how on earth was the ride able to start?
Intamin has only built two others. Tower of Terror in Australia was a single track and closed back in 2019. Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi opened one in 2017 that has forward and backward seats and also twists at the top.Not sure why I knew that but haven’t see any other images of rides that look like Superman.
