Which all stars resort is the best one to stay in? Mainly we want the quieter resort. Children are aged 15 and 13. Any one with the most interesting features. Like Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse especially.
Enjoy swimming a lot, nice pool would be good.
 Thank You.

We love the ASMovies!:sohappy: It is our favorite because of the theme-ing! We have walked over to the Music resort and it seemed very small as far as their food court and main pool area. I have not been to Sports. We did just recently go to Pop, but we wan to go back to Movies! As far as noise etc. we have never had much trouble but others have talked about certain groups coming in that cause a lot of noise. Anyway that's our opinion!

Also.....we like the Dalmation building specifically because it is between the two pools (Mighty Ducks and Fantasia) and the walk to the main building is just as good as staying at the Fantasia Building. Check out Deb's site www.AllEarsNet.com to view pics of the resorts!

Movies is the newest and gets the best reviews here. As the newest hotel, it has slightly improved facilities as the design matured.

that said, I'd go with All-Star Sports for transportation reasons. there are times when one bus serves all three resorts. During these times, All-Star Sports is always the first stop. meaning a better chance to get a seat in the morning and the first off the crowded bus in the afternoon.

We've stayed at the All-Stars numerous times. I believe we've stayed at Sports 3 times and Music 5 times. We've never gone to Movies because FL resident discounts are not applicable there I believe. Anyway, I think of the 3, Music might be the quietest. In Sports, if you stay in the Football section, there are always people playing football and kids running around. Movies I'm sure also has a big draw for children because of the movies included.

I would say go with whatever resort your kids would prefer as far as themeing goes. If they prefer Sports, go there. Music? Go there...and so forth. But you can't go wrong with any of them.

Have a fun trip

Edit: There are reviews for you to peruse on this site as well as on this site http://allearsnet.com/ This last site I linked provides any information on any resort, so it may be useful as well.

When we were there, before the Pop Warner crowd got there, it was nice. We stayed at the Rock section of AS Music. The one thing I would definately recommend is paying the extra amount for the premium location - in Music it was Calypso. From Rock the food court was so far and you had to go past both pools to get there. If you are relying on transportation, this is also a good choice because when the busses drop you off, you could be really far from your room. We had a car so it didn't matter as much, but I would have hated to walk back and forth so much from the far reaches.

Good luck.

At Music, I stayed in the Rock and also the Jazz sections. Calypso is very noisy with that being the busier of the 2 pools out in the middle of the court. I preferred the piano pool as it had way less kids in it (I went when I was single) I didn't think the walk to the lobby was that bad actually from Rock.

We stayed at Pop on this trip in the 80's building and that seemed a lot farther to me from the lobby, that is until we found some short cuts from what the front desk told us to take.

I work there and I can say that Movies is the most popular and may be the most noisy. I work in the Jazz section of Music and it is very quite there. I believe most of Music is quite. Of the three, music is my favorite. Our main pool is in the shape of a Guitar and has Donald and the other guys from the Three Caberaros. Our themed Buildings are Calypso, Jazz, Broadway, Country, and Rock. Hope this info helps. If you need anything else involving the All-Star just ask.

The AllStars are not quiet. Just be prepaired.
When I stayed at the All Star Music resort, our wing was very quiet. We stayed in Calypso (sp??) and were on the back part of the building (not facing the pool). There were only a few times someone would make that much noise outside.

Although, I do think that Riverside is a little quieter.

I really enjoy Movies, but only in the off season, when it's not that crowded. If we are doing the All Stars any other time of year we stay at Music. It is really a nice resort, and unless a competition is going on, usually pretty quiet.:)

Take in mind that all 3 All Star Resorts share the same buses. That is the only thing that sucks about them. I would recommend Pop Century. With the age of your children, I think they would enjoy Pop more. Pop doesn't share buses with anyone. Take all this into consideration. No matter what time you go, All Star buses are crowded. Pops are not.
